Does anyone know how to make this particular move in NBA 2K15?

I don't know if anyone is aware of this. I captured this screenshot while playing NBA 2K14 PC just now. Basically, in NBA 2K14 if you were to push the right stick button down your player would make a lunging move (like a dive) as shown here with Mike Dunleavy as an example. I don't know how you call this in basketball terms.

However, in NBA 2K15 pressing the (RS) button down does nothing. I tried to press a combination of buttons to make that happen on my 360 Controller. But it doesn't work at all. I'm wondering whether this move is possible to make in any way or has this move been stripped off from NBA 2K15?

Many thanks.

I'm wondering this as well. I tried grabbing players with it, etc. and could never figure out what it was good for. I guess that's why I never looked for it in 2K15. How is it properly used??

When I "clicked down" on either the left or right stick (can't remember which) in 2k14, the player intentionally fouled when an opposing player was near. This doesn't seem to be working this year though.

To intentionally foul, hold the Steal button down. To call for the team to do it, hold RB and LB at the same time (or go into Controller to see what it is, if you're using a different controller).

Nice, thank you! I'm a bit confused now though. You didn't know what the animation was in the picture, and I'm 90% sure that it's the intentional foul animation from last year. Is the animation different this year? Since you know how to intentionally foul, I didn't so I haven't seen it yet (MyCareer player).

I'm pretty sure that I used to intentionally foul with "back" button.
This was something extra - up meant hands up, flicking left or right meant launching for the passing lane and clicking on the stick meant this. Never used it though as I fouled with the back button.

I believe that animation was used for intentional foul when the player you wanted to foul was right next to you. If they were not next to you nothing would happen. But if you used the "Back" button(9) on defense your player would go to the player to foul him. Once you pushed it, there was no going back. On offense it would just be a regular time out.

Just found out the name of this move after researching into my NBA 2K14 PC Control Configurations! It's called a Hard / Wrap Foul. As you can see I've cropped an image of the setting.
I've made an experiment in the NBA 2K14 by configuring it into LSTICK and this move was performed using the Left Stick button so I switched it back to the RS button and it was working with the RS again!
However, it doesn't work in NBA 2K15. Because the Hard / Wrap Foul is not included in NBA 2K15 next-gen versions. :?

When I went into the NBA 2K15 Control Settings there's no Hard / Wrap Foul option for the RS button, unfortunately. In fact the RS button simply displays as a Not Used button. So it has no function in the game.

Just made a quick research here for the Xbox 360 NBA 2K15 controls. And it happens to be that this Hard / Wrap Foul is only included for the current-gen versions of Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of NBA 2K15. But it appears to have been removed/not included in NBA 2K15 next-gen PS4/Xbox One and PC versions of the game.

It's not a big deal, but it's a move I enjoyed performing last year. When I performed this hard / wrap foul it caused my opponent to drop and lose control of the ball, making me steal it. Although, this was a rare occurrence, but it did work sometimes. :P
