NBA 2K15 PC Physical Copy

Are there any news if there will be a physical copy of the game for the PC version?

Amazon has both the "Windows" and "PC Download" version on it's store page. I'm assuming the "Windows" version to be a physical copy.

That's nice to know. If it was a download only version, it'll take ages to download here in our country.

NBA2K never had Steam-Achievements, but I hope this Wiki is not 100% correct, yet. Achievements are very easy to do, but Trading Cards would require some work and I doubt 2K cares about the PC crowd that much. :o

Is there any legitimate sources other than Wikipedia? I just reserved mine two days ago but I forgot to ask if it was a physical copy. :(

Hopefully Wikipedia will be wrong about the Disc Version being Europe only. Amazon seems to have a PC Download and PC version for the US so a physical version may be available at launch. Can you pause/stop a Steam download and then change networks and resume the download again? If I can't I may just download the game by P2P sharing (because of the ease of stopping a download anytime) and then use my activation key. Currently have Witcher 3 and NBA 2K15 Pre-ordered on Steam.

Yep. But there have been sources indicating that there will be none or it will be EU only. Remember that the PC version is now x6 of its original file size. And it doesn't help that the internet connection in my country is so damn slow. Downloading the game will probably take a week at least.

The install will be 50GB, but probably not the download itself.

Just got confirmation from the store I preordered from that it will be a physical copy and will include bonuses.
That means Wikipedia is wrong about disc versionbeing EU only. (I am from SE Asia.)

You have pause a Download for every PC Game you download on Steam/Origin etc. I hope they Disc Version does not only come with 1 Disc with 9GB of Data, that would still mean a 40GB Download. But with the EU Release 3 days later than the US Release you can pirate the Game already and put in in your Steamfolder without cracking it, so thats basically your Pre-Load then.
Amazon.de has chaged the Cover from the PC-DVD to Steamworks. Well at least its 100% now that the Amazon Retailversion comes with a Steamkey. 19.95€ such a steal :cheeky:

You sure about that Steamkey on amazon.de? I also preordered for 20€ there but at that time you could not select "PC Steam Code" as Platform but just "PC". I really hope the physical copy comes with a steam key...

Maybe we can start a petition to ask that we be able to pre-load the game on the other platforms?

Top late for that. Nobody would read it or care. Direct contact with the publishers and distributors by a bunch of people might get them to take it into consideration. Steam usually allows pre loading of major titles as everyone downloading at once can cause server issues and slowdowns.

Only one I heard of that people think worked was the porting of dark souls to pc.

That's why I said direct contact by many consumers could make it possible.

The only thing they listen to is highly publicized letters and articles.

And why do you want to start the download early? Slow internet? Buy the disc version.
