Newegg had a really good sale going on, so I ordered an EVGA GTX 780 (coming with a free copy of Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel):



I'll still need to upgrade my aging CPU/motherboard at some point, but this should already make a nice difference.

LGA 1155 doesn't seem to be a current socket for motherboards anymore, but it looks like the Intel Core i7-3770K was one of the best ones for it, so I ordered one of those. At least I don't have to go through the hassle of changing my motherboard.

It's a Logitech F310, shadow. Got it for P1,070 at Datablitz.

Sweet. Almost half the price of an original xbox controller iirc.
Need new controller, xbox controller still works but only if the wire is at a certain angle. I could fix it myself but can't be assed to locate the part where the tiny wire broke inside the main wire.
