i think if the kings can find someone who can really perform in the playoffs it'd be a step up for them. peja is a great shooter and plays great in the regular season but when come playoff time, HE SUCKS!!

The Maloofs are trying to get Peja to reconsider. Apparently, Webber's comments got to Peja. Either way, a Peja-Artest deal wouldn't be bad. JO gets an amazing complement so teams like DET can sag on him anymore. However, they lose a tier 1 defender in Artest...

BJax/Bibby + Christie + Artest is one crazy defensive wing. Absolutely crazy. Artest loves the post and mid ranged game, and his backing down of weaker players would help Webber and Miller with their jump shots. They'll have to change the offense a bit, Artest isn't a great fit in the Princeton offense.

However, if you're going to do this and say Webber is one tough man, then you better explain to me why this powerful guy (and yes, Webber is indeed very strong) is constantly giving up on an inside game and settling for mid-range jump shots like he's old and can't play in the paint anymore like 40 year old Karl Malone...
