the nba needs to fix flopping, plain and simple. anyone in the league would pay 5k to win a ring. its stupid how small the so called penalty is. it makes the games unwatchable at times for me. like i said, wade won his first ring from flopping and thats just fucking horrible. the worse basketball team won the championship because it was better at acting. they need to make this flopping shit a thing of the past

Great start by the Spurs, beautiful ball movement (as is their trademark) and a crazy lucky bounce for Ginobili to end the first quarter. LeBron's on fire again tonight though; I say he goes off for 50 or so, leading the Heat to victory despite their slow start.

Well, the lead ballooned to 20 points.

This is looking like the repeat of last year's Game 3. Kawhi and Green on fire.

Spurs have 55 points on 21 shots. 19/21 from the field, haven't missed in going on ten minutes. Incredible.

That said, they missed a couple and Lewis made a couple of threes, so the Heat could easily storm right back into the game.

Record setting half for the Spurs, shooting 75.8% from the field to edge the 75% clip the Magic shot in the 2009 Finals. Largest halftime lead for a road team since the 1996 Finals, too.

Still, the Heat are shooting a shade under 56% themselves, and a 21 point lead isn't insurmountable for a team of their talent. All it'll take is the Spurs cooling off a bit, the swarming defense we know they're capable of, and they're right back in it.

Fantastic quarter by the Heat, very ordinary one by the Spurs. Miami's been very aggressive, San Antonio has not.

Missed baskets hurt them. Plus foul trouble on Danny Green.

Yeah, that was bad, no matter what Mark Jackson says. However, the Heat's defense has been stifling. Spurs are not moving the ball, not getting good shots.

Kawhi Leonard is a superstar. Needs to work on his free throw shooting though.

Spurs need to come out with same aggressiveness in Game 4 as they did at the beginning of Game 3. That cushion was huge in the third, when they didn't have it going and the Heat made their inevitable run and three point barrage. I was wrong about LeBron in this one, but pick Game 4 to be his 40-50 point game to even the series.

How about a penalty box? Having to sit out a few minutes of a big game, possibly at a crucial juncture, might be a deterrent.

Anyway, back to the Finals; figure Miami's going up 2-1 after Game 3.

This game was not about sliders. It was one of those games where the cpu decided that they were going towinno matter what. Even after the comeback code brought Miami within 7, this was one of those games you pause and hit quit, then restart Seriously, though. LeBron was not aggressive, Chris Bosh wasn't a factor at all, and Ray Allen and Wade didn't get enough touches.

I had forgotten what this was like. Weirdly reminiscent of my first weeks at work, today was my first 15-hour day for this year's crunch.

I wouldn't mind the series to end in five games with blowout losses, screw competitive Finals, screw the Heat.
