they the first one was the hardest yet sweetest.
no more poll but just wanna ask when will the Bobcats get their first win??? also their first home and away win.
against Wizards? ,Orlando? Bucks? Celtics? and so on....
in theirdebut game? after 5 games? 10 games or 20...

for me they have a good chance in their first game. its against Jamison wizards. if not it will be agaisns Cleveland.

how about you????

I'm pretty sure the raptors lost their first game. The Grizz won their first against portland, i think.

I think they will beat Wizards (99-87)...while Kwame Brown dominates! (He'll get 25, 12 and 5 blocks!)

two weeks later... Kwame's averages: 10,7 and 2bpg and Bobcats will be: Won one...lost rest! hooray!

Judging by their schedule, I'd say the Bobcats will pick up their first win within their first three games.

And for the record, both the Raptors and Grizzlies won their first NBA games. The records also show a couple of players on the two expansion teams had better than average performances:

Tor 94, NJ 79 - at Tor
Alvin Robertson (Tor) had 30 points including 11-14 FG and 7 rebounds.
Acie Earl (Tor) had 16 points and 5 rebounds.

Armon Gilliam (NJ) had 13 points including 5-14 FG, 16 rebounds, and 6
turnovers.
Kenny Anderson (NJ) had 13 points including 5-17 FG, 8 assists, and 3
steals.
Tor shot 47.4% (36-76) FG and NJ shot 33.3% (28-84) FG.
Tor hod 15 turnovers and NJ had 29 turnovers.

Van 92, Por 80 - at Por
Benoit Benjamin (Van) had 29 points including 7-10 FT, 13 rebounds, and 3 blocks.
Greg Anthony (Van) had 15 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 steals.
Clifford Robinson (Por) had 32 points including 8-14 FT and 13 rebounds.
Van shot 44% (33-75) And Por shot 35.8% (29-81) FG.

I looked it up, and it turns out they lost. The Cavaliers beat them 133-93 in their first NBA game. In regards to the other expansion teams that came along the same time as the Hornets: the Heat lost their first ever game to the Clippers 111-91, the Magic lost to the Nets 111-106 and the Timberwolves were also defeated 106-94 at the hands of the Seattle Supersonics.

I dont care if they win or not, long as they give effort and Okafor plays like a leader.I think they can beat the Wizards though.
