Frankly, Pick 1 is an obvious choice based on the NBA Positions right now with Milwaukee Bucks having the worst record. They will surely pick a Small Forward rather than a center or point guard because of Larry Sanders and Brandon Knight.
Pick 2 is another obvious choice, Jabari Parker sent the NBA World amock today when he declared for the draft. The teams that tanked almost hit the panic button when rumors were swirling around that he was planning to stay in Duke, that makes it more of a thought how good he is. Philadelphia 76ers will draft him at Pick 2.
Pick 3 is a surprising yet a great pickup for me when considering the Orlando Magic's situation. They have to get the best possible rookie that will benefit them and that is the point guard spot. Joel Embiid is still available but because of injuries, doubt is in the mind of the GM's right now. Another factor why they would pick Smart over Embiid is the rising player Nikola Vucevic who has been good to them all year.
Pick 4 would be Joel Embiid. He is arguably the best and I mean the BEST center prospect in the draft. Boston Celtics would pick him at pick 4.
Pick 5 would be Julius Randle. I'll explain this briefly. He has the muscle, the hustle, it's hard to guard him with the whistle and he is surely a significant piece to complete the puzzle. Utah Jazz would pick him at Pick 5.
Pick 6 would be Dante Exum. Standing at 6' 6'', that's a really good height for a point guard who handles the ball exceptionally well as he is. He can frive, shoot, defend with his physical tools (Very long wingspan) and has a very good potential to be a star. Lakers is his destiny.
Pick 7 would be Gary Harris. A shooter with the same playing style as Stephen Curry. That drive and pop at the three is his most stand-out skill which he os really very good at. Kings would pick him at Pick 7.
Pick 8 would be Noah Vonleh. The highest rebounding PER in NCAA, that alone is a key factor why a team should pick him this high. He is also a very hood rim protector but still has a room of improvement on offense. Pistons would pick him at Pick 8.
The others would be a matter of what team would be at the spot in the draft lottery. This is again. just my thoughts based on the positions of win per loss record this season.
