Professional Wrestling (WWE, TNA, ROH, etc)

Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

Damn....another wrestler dead too early. I hope these guys, especially the older ones are getting themselves checked out thoroughly because their system might be worn out badly too from the lifestyle they lived.

No WWE talent becomes a legend on their own. Every man's heart one day beats its final beat. His lungs breathe a final breath. And if what that man did in his life makes the blood pulse through the body of others and makes them bleed deeper and something larger than life then his essence, his spirit, will be immortalized. By the story tellers, by the loyalty, by the memory of those who honor him and make the running the man did live forever. You, you, you, you, you, you are the legend markers of Ultimate Warrior. In the back I see many potential legends. Some of them with warrior spirits. And you will do the same for them. You will decide if they lived with the passion and intensity. So much so that you will tell your stories and you will make them legends, as well. Ultimate. You are the Ultimate Warrior fans. And the spirit of the Ultimate Warrior will run forever!

I was reading something about Warrior just the other day, and it mentioned that a lot of his promos were strangely morbid, but even so...

He looked really strained from giving that speech. He didn't look healthy at all.

PS: I'm not sure if he ran to the ring.

He didn't. Didn't really shake the ropes, either, just sort of held and pulled them (no idea how much the YT video shows; I haven't watched it).

I guess that old rumor about him being dead finally caught on.

He looked like he was going to have a heart attack doing that speech on RAW.

Apparently he collapsed while being out with his wife so good thing it's not suicide as we all know his screws are loose sometimes.

Just seen Raw, he just walked the ramp but did shake the ropes. I was observing his movements (at least what the camera can focus on) and he seemed to be huffing as he delivers his promo.

But damn, it was very anti-climactic. It's like he just waited for he and the WWE to be in good terms then just passed away. RIP.

Only reason to watch a replay of Undertaker vs Lesnar in WMXXX is to see the moment where the concussion started to slow down Taker.

Taker already seemed out of it when he did his first choke slam and he went for the pin.

Brock's first suplex.
Brock's 2nd suplex, ouch.
Brock lifting Taker's one leg and slamming him down when they were outside the ring.
Brock breaking out of Hell's Gate by lifting and dropping down Taker looks nasty too, especially the 2nd drop where the camera clearly caught Taker's head recoiling when he hit the canvass.
Those F5's looked sloppy.

Sting to WWE is reportedly a done deal, and a match with Taker may apparently not be completely out of the question.

Well, we'll see how long it lasts and where it goes from here. To be honest, I don't think he necessarily needs the mask, seeking as how he was unmasked over a decade ago. However, it seems to be going hand-in-hand with a return to his traditional character, which I'm definitely in favour of.

TNA is so fuckin' terrible right now. I am completely lost with the storylines, and I watch it somewhat regularly. They just had Bully do sucha babyface promo for EY it was just, awkward. And evidently behind the scenes more people are leaving, Daniels, Kaz, and Sabin. :lame:
