I agree the players messed up, but a suspension is out of line. These guys are sacrificing their free time, their whole summers period, to play for a basketball team that so many others passed on. I don't care if you call it an honor or not, but handing these guys suspensions for missing a team meeting will not benefit Team USA, or anyone for that matter except the oppossition.

I agree 100% with you on that one...they are sacrificing their free time in which they could be getting ready for the regular season...they do not deserve anything as harsh as a suspension...

Anyway ... could it be that Coach didn't want them to NOT play so that he could observe the other players? One Captain on the court; One Captain off with the main attraction, AI is accustomed to taking the heat, so will do whatever Coach asks? Coach certainly could not announce to that crowd that HE was sitting them for any other reason.

Coach and everyone else knows what AI and LeBron and Amare brings to the table.

If this was ONLY AI, I would buy it. LeBron? No way!!! Something's up with this. AI knows what's up. Any comment from him? LeBron? Amare?
