The end of the latest Nostalgia Critic episode suggests that after reviewing Man of Steel, Doug's going back to his roots with older stuff for a little bit. I'm glad to see that; while I've enjoyed his new stuff this year, there's still some older stuff from the 80s/90s that I'd like to see him riff on before he does eventually retire the character for good.

Good two-parter, something a little different for this year's Christmas episode and an effective framing device for getting through some requests. I actually owned A Boy and His Blob, and I'd have to agree with his assessment.
