regarding shaq in 2002 mod, that body type is not for him for his all lakers era. maybe, but just maybe is suitable for his cleveland and boston days. but defnitelly not for lakers era. you should make him there like in 99 and 2000 mods.

you've been quite enigmatic lately

however, more 99 roster issues:

- still same error with lenny wilkens i reported for 98 roster. he has a face of some young guy (like lenny in his late 20s/early 30s);

- there is no rick adelman on the bench for the sacramento kings;

- tracy murray (wizards) has wrong rotation position when he comes of the bench. he should be SF, not PF in rotation;

- peđa stojaković should not have beard. he didn't have it until 2003;

- antoine walker should be bold or with very short hair (military style). this also goes for 98 roster;

- maybe putting some younger cf for toni kukoč if available.


for 2002 roster:

- jamal mashburn (hornets) should be bold or with very short (military style) hair;



other issue for 98,99,2000,2002 roster - i don't know if nba 2k has something that was called "tendencies" in nba live series. because when you play, for example lakers from the mentioned rosters, they act like default classic 98 lakers team where you have eddie jones and kobe bryant both in staring lineup. but in URB you have rick fox there and the game still thinks there is eddie jones or kobe at SF so too much shots are taken by rick fox if you play against CPU, meaning he is their "go to guy" too often, instead of shaq or eddie/kobe. in nba live series you have that "tendencies" setting that determines which player should shoot the most. for these 4 rosters "go to guys" or "shot makers" should be 1. shaq, 2. eddie/kobe 3. van exel/fisher/fox/horry.

lakers team from mentioned rosters is just one example. i'm sure there are some other teams with wrong "go to guy" attribute.


p.s. suirad made sixers jerseys for 98, 99 and 2000 season. you should contact him in order to add them in next update.

Hey Madball, there are tendency ratings. I would just go to edit player in the game and change Rick Fox's tendency to shoot.

Wilkens is the only cf we have, i think similar in 2k12- i mention about this several time

I think u dont understand rotations method im using. Tracy Murray is SF in this rotation, but yes i will cut PF for him.
Will check Peja, i dont remember, if we got some different i will re-assign younger Peja.

Because ubr will be in 2k14 and all users will stick to the ubr, there is small chance i can compete with it, even if i will release better rosters which is simple to guess because of arcade lvl of urb is top of the top. But maybe i will try, 2k13 will be updated- i never leave users behind- hope there are some users beside Madball here? still in many aspects 2k13 is better game than 2k14 for me, like 2k11 was better than 2k12, but there is many other reasons why i cant give simple answers. urb (based on 2k12)for 2K14 is something bad(i know its madness) because it will be conflicted with most of other rosters. User will have to choose, poor updated current 2014 urb roster+ 44 non finished copy/paste retro rosters or some updated to the maximum current roster but it will conflict retro rosters. urb should be re-created from zero but we will see, now i can just rest and watch all things from back seat and i like it haha

I personally hope sko works on UBR 2k14, and bring some of your depth and understanding of basketball history.... that way this community can work together to a level unprecedented in 2K modding. Either way, Sko, I hope you succeed in whatever path you chose to take

i know it's christmas time (almost), but i want to report one imho important issue i just discovered:

lately i haven't been playing current season roster that much but tonight i did and i found that after all latest updates for retro rosters URB has lost alternate jerseys for current teams that i think we had before in the mod. those jerseys are: 76ers, cavaliers, clippers, nuggets, spurs, trail blazers and warriors. instead of those alternars, we have blank white jerseys.

are you able to fix this somehow?

also, i would like to know do you have in plan to add current season NEW alternates for some teams, for example new york knicks?

nba 2k14 has all those jerseys mentioned above included in the game and unlocked also, so you can use it for your mod (if you don't wanna include UJP jerseys).

MadbaLL, U are probably format hdd/reinstall windows or something. I never add additional jerseys, yes i add spot for them but user must download them manually. So it looks like u downloaded them, but after reinstall all jerseys files is gone.
I will think about adding new alternates for current one.

no, i didn't download them ever because i thought you have them in the mod already

i hope you will add them in your packs for current roster, it's ugly to see white texture where there are jerseys available out there. and i think it's not big deal, you just need to ad six jersey files + one new (knicks).

i don't wanna do it myself because i don't want to mess up something in the mod and then report issues. so i truly hope you will add those 7 missing alternates.

No its not, i will make it compatible but i dont know when. For now i already added his 84-85 season.
