Behindshadows, have you used the Trainer at all to get a jump start on roster editing? It seems from reading through the thread that almost everything is possible via it. I'm just curious because I believe this weekend I am going to delve into it and learn it up and down. If so, I can edit players and assign them their proper CFIDs for the mod so that the ball can continue rolling as the release of REDitor awaits.

for a mod like this it would be an immense amount of work to overwrite current players... the alternative is creating over 200 created players and then assigning them cfs. Either way the using the trainer is a tedious process. I used it for the HighSchool mod and it tooks several hours for several days to overwrite most of the nba guys. you really need a roster editor

Agreed that's why I didn't use it, I tried it and it's too time consuming, I have everything in excel and word........so I can wait on REDMC 2k14 and just edit then...This will have over 130 teams...No way I'm putting any time into that trainer for these type of edits.

You've been added my friend, after PS4 and Xbox One hit stores, this thread should be flooded with new previews and files, etc. We'll try to get a Beta or version one out before X-mas.

I know, I know, and I appreciate all your guys hard work. I was just wondering in past years if it was done in previous years of College Hoops mod (I didn't really follow mods and the NLSC until this year's game). Sorry if I happen to sound like a spoiled jerk...

Yeah they were high ranked in the 2k12 project, thought it would nice to include them. Same with this mod, only the high ranked teams will be added, since we can't create 325 teams...plus it's too time consuming...

And since every model will have a CF this time, we don't have enough time to do multiple rosters.

Just a heads up for any of the wonderful modders who planned on contributing in 2K13 and had their files unfortunately lost. If you can please search and see if you have any of your courts, arenas, cyberfaces, uniforms, etc. that you can gather up, and shoot them to me so I can start compiling some things and get together a more comprehensive list of what we have done and what we need. This will help us avoid people working on the same things, and speed the process up on a variety of levels. If you want to scour the 2K13 forum(s) and see what you can find (I'm doing this as well), please feel free to do so. Again, there were SO many amazing previews posted of courts, arenas, uniforms, cyberfaces... I know you guys have gotta have a lot of them still hanging around your hard drives. Do me a solid and PM me if you can, or post right here, and I'll work on compiling and organizing.

I just started messing around with courts after a long hiatus from modding. The new procedures by ericxxxxxx and iamlilliard have changed everything about floor modding in NBA 2K. I built the Hoosiers floor but instead of using the NCAA three-point lines and key I adapted it to the NBA.

In case you need some advises about arrangind "higher" texctures, don't hesitate to ask.
Latest Indiania court pics lacks reflections imo, what could be fixed in minute by editing the *bmp file.

Regarding reflections, here is a sample file you have to import to floor file to gain reflections of this type.
This is a simple one, without reljefs, but I just want to show you that BMP texture is responsible for relflections of the floor.

Inport this file (to any court of this type imo)

If you want to achieve more effects you have to create your own BMP texture for each floor individualy
