The deal is 4 years, for 12 million, starting at 2.7 million. Which is a bad deal usually, a somewhat bad deal these days. He's a good complement to Shaq though...hit those 18 footers. He also turned down a bigger offer from the Hornets...this leaves the Heat with $2.7 of their MLE and their $1.6 LLE.

By today's standards it's fairly reasonable, though if he's willing to settle for less they probably could have signed him more cheaply. With Shaq on the team, it won't really matter.
