ntw Lakers dynasty

My Orlando dynasty got quite boring after a while due to the fact that dirk was the only good player on the team...
So I'm gonna do a Lakers dynasty built around Kobe.

First order of business, trade SHAQ. Am likely to do a trade similar to the trade with Miami, but am basically looking for players who can run the floor with Kobe. I'm also looking to ship out GP and Karl Malone as they wouldnt be able to keep up with my fast paced offense.

Any Suggestions?


Karl, Shaq, and GP will not likely be in a Laker uniform next season

Perhaps a trade to New Jersey involving Jason Kidd? Kidd and Kobe could be quite a duo, and Jersey certainly could use Shaquille

Shaq, GP, Malone to Memphis for Jwill, Battier, Swift, Gasol
Shaq for Brand, Maggette
Shaq for Odom, Butler, Grant
Shaq for Z, Lebron (Unrealistic i know)

now i don't see that happening. maybe shaq, malone, and fisher for kidd, martin, and armstrong


personally, i'd like to see the shaq to miami trade go down. brian grant sucks big time, so i'd trade him elsewhere if i was you, maybe to the clippers for c. kaman and keyon dooling

I agree do the Miami trade, Odom and Kobe will play well together. That will be a good team to build around.

I must agree, I like the idea of getting Kidd and Martin to play with Kobe. Try to work that out

the nets would never think about that being a possibility though =)
