The Indiana Pacers and New York Knicks free agent Chris Copeland have a strong mutual interest, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.
Copleland, 29, played his career overseas until making a successful leap to the NBA last season. Multiple teams are in pursuit of him, but the Pacers are emerging as a strong possible destination for him, sources said.

Oklahoma City has begun an aggressive pursuit of Philadelphia free-agent guard Dorell Wright, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.
Wright, 27, averaged 9.2 points in 72 games for the Sixers a season ago.
The Thunder are working to stay below the luxury tax threshold this season, searching for bargain contributors able to spread the floor and make shots. The return of Kevin Martin to the Thunder appears unlikely, unless the market for him dries up completely and he has to return at a far lower rate than he's trying to find, league sources said.

This is great deal for the Clippers because Iman Shumpert might/will be better than Bledsoe, and Chandler is better than Jordan. Instantly upgrades the Clippers. And Iman's haircut is inspiring(bonus attribute).

But I agree that this works for the Knicks as well because Jordan has better potential as he's younger. And it's ecstatic to even imagine about the best froncourt rotation in today's league. Amare, Jordan, Bargnani. You have slasher, defender, shooter. Foundation of great basketball, gg Heat.

I wouldn't mind that, I'll certainly take him over Boozer. Kind of funny though, seeing as how they drafted him and traded him for Tyrus Thomas all those years ago.

Martell Webster agrees to 4-year deal with Wizards

Martell Webster is expected to return to the Washington Wizards with a new four-year contract in hand next season, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports. Wojnarowski reports that the deal will be worth $22 million over the duration of the contract.

Not sure what to make out of this. He was solid last season but I still have doubts. Wizards were pretty quick in their decision to bring him back with all that money even before testing FA market.

Imho a lot of overspending is going on. Dunleavy, Webster, Splitter etc they seem to get a lot of money if you ask me.

Agreed.

Dunleavy on Bulls team, not sure what to think of that yet.

Splitter too. Post Duncan era is going to be bit tough.

The Minnesota Timberwolves have offered Kevin Martin a 4-year deal that could be worth as much as $30 million with incentives.

I'm willing to see how it turns out before I write it off as a bad signing, but I'd be lying if I said I was particularly excited about the move.

My man @Brian Windhorst reporting that Pistons have offered expiring deals of Rodney Stuckey and Charlie Villanueva to Toronto for Rudy Gay

Raptors swingmen Rudy Gay and/or DeMar DeRozan could be in play if Toronto decides to completely blow up the lineup after trading former No. 1 pick Andrea Bargnani to the Knicks. They both fit the profile of young, athletic wing players the Pistons are seeking. They like Gay a lot.

I heard that the Suns and the Spurs are talking a possibly trade for Gortat... but now hearing that Splitter is back for San Antonio I don't believe that Gortat is going this way... but he is going to be a good trade chip.

I guess all of his talk about having been on enough losing teams in his career and wanting to stay in OKC slipped his mind when the T-Wolves offered the big bucks. Which is fine, I guess. Thunder couldn't offer him that much so it's understandable that he would look after himself. He seems like a nice guy so good luck to him.

I wonder if this means that Lamb will finally get his chance. Apparently he did alright in the D-League last season and they have to play him sometime if they want him to develop.

Noice-ly done. 1 year rental for KevMartin at the cost of Harden. On top of that, they get to watch the new Western Best one two punch replacing Durant-Westbrook. Welcome Harden-Dwight duo dominating them year after year.

Still depends on how Ibaka will improve. He has improved last year and I think he might do so in years to come. There is no way to have Durant, Harden and Westbrook on your roster anyway, everybody wants the ball. If Lamb turns into more than a solid help then the deal was still very good.

I hear they had a decent shot at Dwight but these signings obviously mean they fully intend to try for a championship with the current core for another season or two. Dwight allegedly was interested to hear about the Spurs' pitch as he thought highly of the Spurs's winning culture.

O.J. Mayo nearing deal with Bucks

Not a bad move for them, and likely a sign that they'll let Ellis walk while possibly re-signing Jennings, if they can.

Sources told ESPN.com on Wednesday that Evans, frustrated by the state of his negotiations with the Sacramento Kings as a restricted free agent, is determined to leave the organization and plans to sign an offer sheet with the New Orleans Pelicans on the first allowable day.

Although the Pelicans technically are still waiting for Evans to verbally commit to signing the offer sheet, sources close to the situation regard that as "an inevitability" by week's end. Evans then would formally sign the four-year, $44 million offer sheet on July 10, when the league's annual moratorium on signings and trades is lifted. Sacramento would have three days to either match or pass on the offer.

Source.

I like Evans, I enjoy watching him play, I just don't think he's a SF though. They tried to make him a better off the ball player last year but I think he's most effective with the ball, his ability to get to the rim is pretty amazing for such a young guy. Where ever he ends up, I hope he does well.

Edit: You'd be batshit crazy to want to resign Ellis after him saying he's akin to Wade. :|

He's kind of fallen off the map, not surprising when you play for a losing team and have missed a few games with injury here and there, but I still think he's still got a lot of potential and can be a good player in the league. I agree with you, he seems better suited to being a combo guard with the ball in his hands than off-the-ball on the wing.

Great for the Clippers. He had his best season at age of 32 alongside CP3 last season. 3-4 mil/yr I don't think is too bad for this guy.

The Kings have been trying to move Jimmer Fredette and Chuck Hayes to the Cavaliers in order to create enough cap space to sign Monta Ellis.
