We've seen a lot of video game deals lately but here's a limited time freebie you'll want to check out if you've got an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. Right now, you can download a free copy of the popular tower defense game Plants vs. Zombies by simply visiting the page here. Instructions are fairly straightforward as all you need to do is click the GET MY CODE button and away you go! The code and link redirect to iTunes which should then begin the download on your iOS device. Simple, right?

The iOS version of Plants vs. Zombies received a very good score over at Metacritic and, for the low cost of zero dollars, is worth a download. If you don't end up liking it at least you didn't spend anything to try it out.

The freebie is live now but expires on July 20. We wouldn't wait that long to take advantage of the deal, though.
