Ben Wallace is the Pistons center and he is only 6'9"

granted, he has mad hoops but Grant has some meat on those bones. And in the east, that's almost enough.

isn't he the Center on the all defensive team?
isn't he the starting center on the eastern conference all-star team?

But he's not the center on the Detroit Pistons though

those are fantasy teams
not his actual team

Fantasy teams?

They vote on position. Ben Wallace is listed as center on the teams website. Rasheed Wallace is listed as the PF. And in the finals, Ben guarded Shaq (the center) and Rasheed guarded Karl Malone (the PF)

No it's not. Rasheed CAN play Center but Ben Wallaced DID play center. It's on their site, it's everywhere. Don't deny it.

I almost freak out in that other thread of yours.

Anyway, good sign by the Raptors. They have a nice contender team now.

LOL, both Wallaces can play either center or power forward and 'Sheed can play some 3 as well. when Rasheed go there, he played his first games mostly at center. In the playoffs, however, Big Ben was the center. It doesn't really matter though, as there's not abig difference as long as they are two big men. For this isolated case, it's hard to put a label or either...

He should have stayed in Miami. Man, I wasted all of my time making a nice sig. :( He fit in well in Miami. A great 6th man, plus they made the playoffs.

On All NBA teams, you can vote players out of their positions, so even if he's a PF, they'll vote him as a center so they can get Artest and KG at the Forward spots.
