I don't know who I compare to...I'm about 6'2" 160 with around a 37" vert. I didn't start playing basketball until I was about 17 really (20 now) and even then just with friends. At first I'd just block their shots (volleyball experience) but I learned some handles a nice looking pull-up...

Right now I still rely a lot on my athleticism...my spin and crossover are still works in progress so I just run by and jump over people for the most part...so for my official comparison I'd say Larry Hughes.

I don't normally go for gimmicky stuff like this, but this looks fun.

I can't tell you accurately who I most resemble... that really ought to be left to someone else who's seen me play.

I'd like to think I resemble Gary Payton or Jay Williams, but without the three pointers. I'm a combo guard. I've been compared once to Jason Kidd in his rookie season, Allen Iverson, Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan. So, I'm basically all over the place.

Disclaimer: Remember, this is just playing style -- I claim to have neither the skill nor the ability of any of the aforementioned players.

Ultimately, I try to style my game after Michael Jordan. I try to move without the ball, the fadeaway is a big part of my game, and I play very competitively.

On a side note, I'd like to direct your attention now to PoorCH's avatar. It's a pic from a basketball manga/anime (that's comic/cartoon for those of you that don't know) called Slam Dunk. It's the best basketball comic created, and really the only notable one. Props to PoorCH for recognizing.

If you've not heard of it, you should really check it out. If you have, then God bless you.

My playing style reminded me of Spree...

Good antecipation... Good athleticism... 33 inch vertical (in my good old playing days, of course... now I can barely jump over a car)... Good midrange shooter... Not so good free throw shooter...

Two best qualities: goin' to the hole with quick first step, and passing... I was the best passer on the team by far...

Two worst qualities: free throw shooting and focus... I was too inconsistent...

I played high school ball for my ball... But that doesn't say much here in Brazil...

I do a bit of most things actually.....

Quick stats: Height: 5'11" Weight: 190 lbs Pos: SG/SF Age: 23
PPG: 12.0 RPG: 6.8 APG: 5.5 FG%: .48 3P%: .45 MPG: 28 (or there abouts)

- Got the ultra quick release jumper just like Reggie Miller (when I was kid I modelled most of my offensive repertoire on Reggies game), spend most of my time on court running off screens, catch and shoot stuff, can finish off quick cuts to the hoop but won't look to create my own shot. People get pissed off when I drop bombs on their team and then laugh. I got enough hops to pin guys and dunk with a run-up on occasion. Developed a nice little jumphook to use in the post.

- The rest of my game is much like Scottie Pippens, play solid stifling D, can rebound well for my size (thanks to deceptively good hops and positioning), and I pass well to set up other team members.

Let's see

I'm a streaky shooter from a distance, but ok closer at the basket, and I have some good post moves, good rebounder and shotblocker, decent ballhandler, ok defender and stealer, tough as nails (really... my opponents always hate me during games because I box out hard and defend pretty rough... also in jumping duels (for rebounds) I make contact... all to intimidate.. and it works)

So umm.. that would be.. Zo with a bit better handling and no injuries (except for my fingers at the moment but that's a rarity)

Iverson, Hot Sauce and Kidd.
at the beginning of the game i go hard out scoring, but then i get a bit tired and set up my team mates more. Plus i just love crossing ppl up and breaking their ankles and doing tricks and embarrassing the guy i front of me.

On offense- If I'm shooting bad, I pass much more. Jason Kidd
If I'm shooting good, I pass sorta less. (still pass) Kobe
Also terrible from the arc (I don't have enough power to shoot the REAL way from the arc yet)

On defense- Doug Christie

Boarding- Great with offensive rebounds. Good with defensive rebounds

Also sometimes I use Tim Duncan's one-handed shot when playing against a tall opponent.

I think my style resembles Allan Houston - pure shooter - but for completely different reasons such as - I have very little talent of taking the ball to the hoop and I can't hit threes to save myself.

To be more realistic, I think I resemble Shaq without the dominant inside game - <50% Free Throws & next to zero three point ability :)

Just thought I be realistic...

I'm like Ben Wallace (although I'm only 5'8"), on D I usually get at least 13 boards a game and for my size I play guys at least 4 inches taller and usually get 2 blocks a game.

I'm also a very physical and agressive defender (In a pickup game this summer I stole the ball like 8 times on 10 posessions the other team had and I managed to blow ALL 8 layups  , I just ran too fast and the ball rimmed out each time, I was very pissed and the joke of the game, but nothing like stuffing a guy a foot taller to shut everyone up and then to let them laugh at the other guy for being beaten by me)

On O I usually stay inside to try to get cheap layups and putbacks. But since i was being left open outside so much I learned the proper way to shoot and now I can hit an open 3 45%-50%. I also learned a crappy cossover (nothing much but now I can go behind my back without losing it off my heel). I'm a pretty good passer and manage to make some sweet tight no looks and bounce passes.

I'm like 2 inches from touching the rim and have improved my layups drastically over the summer and have learned how to scoop them in without trouble and now I am somewhat better, and as soon as I can grab rim Watch Out!

I'm streaky...I finally got my shot back around three weeks ago, as I barely made one shot a game. I'm more of John Stockton kind of player; good D, good passes, sets up other players, and only shoots when needed, although I've been coming off screens and jacking the three a bit more since my shot came back. *shrug* I'm decent, at best, nothing special.

on defense: Ben Wallace, coz i'm gettin' a lot of rebounds (like 15) and i'm an excellent defender and shot blocker
on offense: i suck, like 15 assists per game but 2 or 4 points  so....
J-Kidd but whitout the points

My style of playing reminds me the Bad Boys of Detroit, Intimidating in the board, guys decide to try their jump shoot instead of getting a masacre from Rick Mahorn in the low post, lol.

I just realized that I am really not good at basketball at all, averaging only 2.5rpg, 1.25bpg, and .5ppg :( in a rec-league, haha. Lol, I should be ashamed of myself  . I don't know what player my game resembles.

Hey Llamaj, you should be proud, I guess the one drafted 3rd overall this past draft has those numbers if not worse comparing it with the playing time you might be playing, some Dunleavy.

How come everyone either thinks their game resembles a well known Nba player or a combination of well known all star players? Few people have said ya I'm not that great I guess I play like Montros.

Don't you know, we are all future NBA players or current NBA players in disguise.
