Why is Foyle getting 41 million?

Someone who averages 3ppg doesn't deserve that much money. It's unbelievable how franchises overpay people.

He has hidden offensive talent, and he's sick like that

Defense, rebounding, blocking, and leadership, and he really does have hidden offense, but big men always get too much dough.

5 years... Can you believe that???

I'm disgusted... If Golden State sucks for 3 more seasons I'm leaving the bandwagon...

whoooaaaaaaaaaaaa
5years 41mill?
8mill a season for a guy whho has a career average of
4.6 points per game
1.8 blocks a game
5 rebounds a game
im a bit puzzled by this move by the warriors now that i saw his stats
I'm assuming he will be there starter and they feel he will be a solid player.
There is some hope
in 02-03 he played all 82 games off the bench and in 22min per game averaged 2.5 blocks a game...thats pretty good numbers

I guess they hope he will average about 10points, 13 rebounds, 3blocks a game

hehe that reminds me of Ben Wallace numbers..
PPG 9.5
RPG 12.4
APG 1.7
SPG 1.77
BPG 3.04
FG% .421
FT% .490
3P% .125
MPG 37.7
for ben wallace

The Ben Wallace of the West is coming  They both suck at free throws too :)

They could've spent that money on me for all I care.

Foyle? Now they are paying 41 million dollars for role players?

A lockout wouldn't totally be out of the question..

The more money spent on these players the more I think there won't be a lockout.

NBA players have nothing to complain about when it comes to money.

The clubs will stop paying, they will go on strike. The stadium wont let players in. We'll have to open the NBDL...part 2.

It's not entirely the players' fault though.

If you've got a moronic management willing to spit that insane, unheard of, out of this world sum of money to these guys, can't blame the players. :o

I thought it was 6 years, but maybe I remembered wrong. The first year is at 6.5 million and the last year is at a whooping 10 milliion, when he's going to be in his mid-30's. What exactly was Mullin thinking?

Before that one day comes, they'll have many days of crying.

Foyle will suck, maybe not in one or two, but he will.

let him start and get minutes.
im telling you look at his numbers. You need to double them to get starters numbers and you get very close to Ben Wallace numbers. He might be able to put fear in defenders like Ben does...he seem slike a monster on blocks
Now if he is coming off the bench, then this is a terrible move.

(btw i dont watch warriors game so i don't know much about him but the numbers are so similar to ben wallace...and its not like he gets darko minutes, he gets good minutes off the bench)

it's not only on potential. Orlando was about to sign him and Dampier is most likely gone. They needed to do something and maybe this is all they could do.
