David Aldridge on the Timberwolves Season:The Timberwolves had many growing pains this past season. The team has seem to bounce back from there mid- December melt down, which saw one of there potential stars get banned from the League for violating the League’s substance abuse policy. The team was lead by there two all stars: Cocobee and Campos. Campos is steadily becoming one of the NBA’s elite point guard. A former #1 pick, Campos is becoming a league and media favorite. The addition of ALL World player: Cocobee last year is starting to pay dividends. Toroc has surrounded the team round his star player. It took Toroc 2 years to turn this franchise around—from the once laughed at to, now, the most envied team in the NBA. With budding layers like Josh Smith and Levi Wright to take the scoring load off Cocobee, these Timberwolves look to make a lot of noise in the Playoffs. YES, the Playoffs! They’ve got the Spurs in the first round, so it might be tough series. Lucky for the T-Pups, they have Cocobee to lead the way. It was a long exhausting season, but look for the Timberwolves to make the Playoffs there own personal “coming out” party!
