The first official roster update has been released. The 2nd round rookies seem to have been added to their teams. There's still guaranteed players missing (coming from overseas mostly), such as Singler and Kravtsov for the Pistons.
Nothing of note in the Online Data other than the new roster in IFF format for when you press Reset Roster.

thx for the upload Leftos but... this is the worst update of roster of all time, nothing really changes, still a lot of important players missing, like Shved. I hope they make the right changes in the next roster update

Knicks have just 11 players and no Sheed or Prigioni...

Yeah they reduced Carmelo and Amare defense. Melo dropped 4(now 72 in defense) overall points and Amare dropped a couple overall points.
I dont mind the missing players, because one of the modders will have them available at one point. But why is Gilbert Arenas, Baron Davis, Vince Carter, Jerry Stackhouse etc rated so high. They are past there point of being relevant. At most, decent role players but most of them shouldnt be any higher than 65, with exception to Vince Carter.

I prefer these over the old ones.... so thanks

I want Mirza Teletovic though T.T

Vince Carter is definitely overrated compared to what his performance declined last season...

Andrew posted the Official Online Data Update accurate as of Oct 22, 2012

Will that 22.10.2012 Online data that Andrew put make my Lakers court up-to-date even if I'm not connected to 2K and unable to paly online?

The folder contain a file called ux024.iff. It seems to be an alternate jersey for OKC but impossible to choose it in-game..
Also there is a newscorebug.iff. Maybe it fixes the scoreboard dissapear problem?!

There's only been one roster update so far. The pack has simply been updated to include the new art updates that were pushed through.

Umm...what sources do they use for their reference files? Never seen that version of the Clippers cout, early previews with the side by side new Lakers court didn't look like that. I would like to see this reference file they had, in fact, I'd like to see all their reference files so I could understand why there are so much art inaccuracies.
My theory: At least the art department doesn't really watch or has a great deal of NBA knowledge.
The good news is, we might have found the source of the problem! Reference files....
Fri Oct 26, 2012 1:41 am
this has always been 2k's problem. They go off official references direct from the NBA which are not always correct. Why do you think the Bulls, Pistons, and Clippers had/have pink accessories all these years. They are using the official color of the team, not how the accessories actually look like.
As for the courts, remember the Cavs court with the blue lane? 'nuff said.
Fri Oct 26, 2012 5:49 pm
can we overwrite online data updated courts by adding modded courts to online data folder? 2k courts updates suck!

mlp111, no, that won't work. You can either go offline and delete your Online Data folder which will let you keep all your mods but lose all updates, or use my Keep My Mod tool.
