Oh, I agree. I meant that this project came about because of the idea that a game could be made that was better than THQ's games (to simplify the goal/mission statement) and more than once people have criticised games like Live with the statement they could make a better game. The trials and tribulations associated with Pro Wrestling X should prove that making a quality product in a timely manner and satisfying everyone - or more realistically, an overwhelming majority - is easier said than done.

Can't believe the project is still alive... I remember searching for an alternative wrestling game for PC back in the day and stumbled upon PWX... Gotta give em props for their commitment but looks like this game might not see the light of day.

The game is now in beta, out in the wild for testing.
After that beta, there will be a public beta.

Brief glimpse of the game, jerky animations still, but it's something, and it sounds really good gameplay wise.

After a ten year wait, I have a feeling there's going to be an element of Duke Nukem Forever-ism involved here but it's cool that they're still giving it their best shot and that it's moving forward. The public beta will be worth a try, I reckon.
