Not renewed by CC. There'll be a season this year, but after that?

Little surprised, as this is a successful show IMO and the episodes weren't that bad. I didn't bother checking the ratings though, but I have no problem with any of the episodes. Sure, they aren't as good as the original run was, but they were good episodes nonetheless. Very disappointed that the series was not renewed.

The ratings were getting worse and hitting about a third to half of what South Park and Tosh.0 average. And Futurama was more expensive than either of those.

The "season" this year is just the second half of season seven.

as much as i like this show, the last couple of episodes seemed like filler episodes that lacked the appeal of what made them good in the first place. i hope they get some good fry/leela storylines before it's over

I liked that episode more than some of the recent ones. Nice to see Calculon back for an episode.

the last 2 episodes were actually pretty good, which was a nice change. loved the scooby doo parody because i used to watch a lot of scooby doo as a kid. the calculon episode is probably the funniest episode overall this season.
