Finally, LeBron James wins his first NBA championship as his Miami Heat defeated the Oklahoma City Thunders in seven games. James averaged 30 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals and 1 block in the finals, and was named the Finals MVP.

Filipino GM Drawing Interest from Various NBA Teams

A young Filipino GM has drawn interest from various NBA teams, Julian Martin have been in constant interviews from the Orlando Magic, Utah Jazz, Washington Wizards and Indiana Pacers.

Julian Martin has started his career on a local basketball team on the Philippines and took them to a couple of championships, and then he moved on to Italy and once again took the team to a championship.

Sacramento Kings Wins Draft Lottery


Lady Luck is on the Sacramento Kings today as they won 2012 NBA Draft Lottery. They have the third best chance to win the lottery. This is the second time they won the lottery back on 1989 when they pick Pervis Ellison.

The Washington Wizards fell to 2nd pick even though they the best chance to win while the New Orleans Hornets rise in the 3rd pick. The Cleveland Cavaliers fell to 4th pick, they have the second best chance to win.

Kentucky’s Anthony Davis is projected to be the top pick in this year’s NBA Draft.

Report: Grunfeld Returns as Team President, Signs New GM


WASHINGTON -- After ups and downs during nearly a decade with the Washington Wizards, Ernie Grunfeld is getting more time to run the franchise and with more power.

Grunfeld and the Wizards have agreed to a contract that will keep him as team president, the team also signs a young Filipino Julian Martin as their new General Manager.

The Wizards recently pretty much started over yet again, constructing a team around point guard John Wall, who Grunfeld chose with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2010 draft. Grunfeld added Brazilian big man Nene in a trade-deadline deal in March, shipping away talented-but-slow-to-mature young players JaVale McGee and Nick Young.
