Problems with Wingman Rumblepad and EA patch

I just installed the new patch for NBA live 2003 and it is supposed to fix the fps issues with my USB wingman rumblepad. Instead, I am not able to use the pad at all. Now every time I try to select it in controller select screen, it won't work. I know the pad itself works becasue I use it for other games and I run the tests for it under control panel, but does anyone know what is going on? is it the patch? If so, will EA fix this soon because I want to go back to using my wingman rumblepad as soon as possible.

i have the same controller as you and im glad you posted this because i won´t install the patch. The game runs smoothly on my cpu (i have a GeForce 4 - 128 ram).

Anyway, i think it´s those Microsoft guys! Really! I installed my brand new Sidewinder Wheel USB and suddenly my Wingman RumblePad does not work in racing games!! Those guys just do sabotage!!! It´s the same with Internet Explorer and Netscape! Once you install the Internet Explorer, say goodbye to your Netscape!

I had the same problem with the same gamepad. Fortubately, downloading the latest Rumblepad drivers from Logitech cured my problems.

I already had the update patch and the controller didnt work, but I tried uninstalling the patch and reinstalling it. It still did not work. I have no idea how to get my wingman rumblepad to work. Im running windows 98, 600 mhz, pentium 3 processor and my controller wont work for NBA live anymore because of its new patch.

Did you ever have problems with frame rates or anything before you installed the EA update?
