Just caught Scott Brooks' comments in that last huddle on SportsCenter. Classy stuff, you can certainly criticise some of the coaching decisions he made like sitting Durant with the four fouls in Game 3, but that was a fine speech to his team and great sportsmanship. I hope he does return to the Thunder and gets a chance to get better along with them, learn from his mistakes and have a chance to redeem himself.

The support deserves most of the credit, they actually hit the shots they were given they usually missed before. Obviously the Big three are gonna be in the spot light, but they would of been in last years position if it weren't for the supporting cast. After seeing pathetic concert style intro when they came together and hear them talk all that boosheet, they have about seven more to go, good luck...

Indeed. They proved they were deeper than the Big Three and now have the Larry O'Brien trophy to prove it.

As for winning more titles...definitely. Not to take anything away from this championship, but like all defending champions the pressure is now on for them to win it all again, especially in light of those bold proclamations and the great expectations that come about when you get three top players in their prime on the same team. For now they can enjoy their victory but one and done would be a let down for them.

Lebron as a BUG compared to Jordan? Im not saying Lebron is jordan's level yet, but he's making people turn on basketball games. He's doing things that make entire bars erupt. The bug comparison is unfair: whether you like him or not.

No he's not a bug, but I don't respect him, not after the way he ditched cleveland in the fashion he did, this comes from a Pittsburgh fan who hates (but respects) Cleveland sports.

Cute. Why not just rage quit life while you're at it? Ass.

LOL why would I need to rage quit my life.

My Pittsburgh Steelers are #1...

Wait, how many championships did you win in the 70's?

remember that crushing we gave you in 79 en route to the defunct 4th lombardi...

Don't get me started on the Panthers as well, basketball is all you have in Miami.

And when Rose get's back to his full health, the Bulls will be the best team in the league, year in and out.

Have fun with your short reign as best team.

edit -- I probably made a mistake bringing up the Dolphins, I'm guessing most MIA fans are band-wagoners.

I will just let you drown in that bucket of hate and rage of yours, because that's all you got right now and it's both sad and pathetic.

Oh and by the way, rivalries are overrated.

Nice guy but he did a horrible job coaching this series. His defensive schemes, his substitutions and his adjustments were awful. If Phil Jackson was coaching the Thunder I GUARANTEE OKC wins it all.

Heat bench/ supporting cast was definitely a factor in this series. I'm curious which roster changes Heat will make and if that roster would still be good enought to repeat (no one knows what happens if they'd add Lamar Odom or VC  ).
And as you've said, it will be interesting to see whether Spoelstra could keep his remaining players hungry enough to repeat.

Nevertheless, Heat clearly deserved to win. Congratulations.

Glad to see LeBron finally get the monkey off his back. I'm happy for him for some reason. And it'll be interesting to see how the media perception of him changes now that he's a champion.

Meanwhile the Heat fanboyism is driving me nuts. People are talking about the Heat as if THEY'RE in the team themselves or something. You'd think NovU earned a ring himself by the way he talks of it.

I suggest all the people who voted for "Thunder in 6" (since they were the most populous) be stripped naked and forced to rewatch all the finals games....but with Rebecca Black and Justin Bieber commentating. The person who voted for "Miami in 5" gets to save 1 person (like family or friend) to save from the aforementioned ordeal. The rest? Well, let's just say we'll give them a break...in 5.

Why? When someone votes before a series hasn't even started no one knows what to expect. If the Thunder did win in Six, I wouldn't of made the people who voted "heat in five" do something stupid, especially going on to claim it after the series is over.

DO you know how many arguments i've gotten into tell people LeBron is the best player in the nba...not just in real life but all over the interwebs...this site included. And this was before he joined Miami too. I was a Lebron fan since he wore his head band straight, you must have me confused sir.

I personally dont think he did a horrible job coaching this series, i think the 'no-show' of james harden and the suspect play of the refs killed the thunder, dont get me wrong miami played great, but the refs were horrible this series, they killed it for me..... had to be the worst series and year of nba basketball for me!

Congrats to Heat fans firstly. I really felt like we could win this (especially after game 1), but you guys were too good in the next 4 games.

I'm hoping that this year will be another learning experience for OKC and they can continue their recent trend of improvement.

2008-09 - 23–59 (13th)
2009–10 - 50–32 (8th) - Lost in first round against eventual champion Lakers.
2010-11 - 55–27 (4th) - Lost in conference finals to eventual champion Mavs.
2011-12 - 47–19 (2nd) - Lost in NBA finals to Heat.
2012-13 - ??

Maybe Harden will step up and become a starter next season.

Lol. Calm down. I was just messing. I don't know why but I felt like trolling in last couple days. I knew you before from the Heat thread that you are a long time Heat fan like myself, and Nick is a great poster that I always enjoy reading. (Y)
