Scale model painting. Had to do the camouflage patterns through handbrushing.

Sounds pretty interesting. Care to show your works after?

I hope you guys don't mind if the finished product is a Japanese robot.

So it was said by the instruction manual to have the model colored like this:

From the show it was from, it was supposed to be a paramilitary unit and having that unit in these colors makes it improper, so I had it re-painted in this scheme:

Pardon the shots, they were just from my phone. That scheme took me two days to finish, mostly handbrushed, without sealing it with matte coat. It still lacks decals for additional detailing and weathering.
There you go, a nerdy hobby.

Thanks Kris.

My back still aches because of painting.
I am off to get a can of proper matte coat later.

A+ for effort in hand painting a camo pattern
B- for having a robot with something stuck up his ass

That's some fucking awesome skills Lean. Much better than the instruction robot.
I ain't much of an art person but bet that takes some serious skills.

Thanks guys.

Though my hands are as steady as a jackhammer so it's not as clean as I wanted it to be.
And shadow, you attach the display stand connector to his ass.

There's paint under the feet that I don't want to get scratched if I left it standing so I put it up there. I had to do it to dry the paint (it's still connected to it up to now).

Do you have any body part that is like a jackhammer?

Where I live, there are tons of geeks and nerds here. Lean and I team up, we'd be talking about some serious $$$. Now send me that robot, I sell it and split the profit 50 50(negotiable).

You know where it is, shadow. You know where it is.

I was thinking of doing that as sideline, where geeks and nerds would have their plastic models built and painted. I still lack skills though.
