Um, no. I'm sorry, but that's completely and utterly wrong and makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Why would I base a player's ratings off a very broad generalisation about his position, rather than his actual performance? To do so would be absolutely senseless.
As I explained quite clearly before, Evans makes less than one three per game, shooting 20% in the process. That is not a good percentage for a guard and it certainly does not make him a prolific or effective three point shooter at his position or by NBA standards in general. Him being the main player on the Kings is irrelevant; ratings reflect a player's abilities and performance. Like I said, 54 is generous for him, because he's not much of a three point shooter at all.

As I mentioned before, I actually have made adjustments to those players based on their statistical performance per 36 minutes. If there are any specific ratings you'd like me to look at - speed, quickness, field goals, jumping, whatever - by all means let me know. However, like I said I've already made adjustments based on their age and current performance.
