Ordered an Andrew Gaze Melbourne Tigers heritage jersey back in November, and was told it would be here by Christmas. Christmas passed, no sign of it. I figured fair enough, it has to come from Melbourne, I'm in Perth, it might take a bit of extra time. A couple of weeks into January, still nothing. So I got in touch with And1, and was told there was some sort of holdup in customs, and the whole thing would be delayed indefinitely.

Eventually, I get a package from And1. I open it up, and it is indeed a Melbourne Tigers heritage jersey, but it says 'Copeland' on the back and is number 21. I get back in touch with them again, they manage to track down my jersey, and say it'll be sent to me, and that I need to send the Copeland one back. Package it up, give them the weight and dimensions, and they'll take car of the arrangements with the courier so I won't have to pay for it.

The next day, I find a message on my phone from Star Track Express asking me to call them back WRT the return. When I do, they have no idea who I am, or why I'm calling (and neither do I, because the message didn't bother to say, or to give me any sort of shipment number or anything), and have no record of my existence. And1 said the truck would be there the next day, and it wasn't. It showed up two days later.

Since I'd heard nothing about the jersey I actually ordered at this point, I had to email them again to find out what was going on, and was told it would be in my hands by the middle of the next week. Midway through the week after that, it still hadn't arrived, so I emailed again. No response. The next day, still nothing, so I emailed again. No response. After the third day, they finally bothered to respond...to tell me they'd just mailed it out and it should be here the middle of the week after that.

Finally, yesterday, it showed up. In a box that could easily have held thousands of jerseys:

In short, And1 are fucking retarded.

Double posting, but what the hell.

I've got an external hard drive plugged into my computer, that I'm trying to access via my XBox 360. I've shared the drive, and I've gone into WMP and shared with the XBox, as well as adding the external drive to the library. The two mpg files on the drive show up in WMP, but the XBox displays nothing on the drive. The drive itself shows up, but not the video files.

Ideas?

Must it? From what I've been able to find online, people have been doing what I'm trying to do as a workaround for it needing to be FAT32 in order to plug into the XBox itself. The C drive, which has the sample videos on it which show up fine on the XBox, is NTFS, and I can't see how whether it's internal or external would make a difference.

I copied one of the Sample Videos over, and that showed up okay. Looks like even if it does support NTFS, it doesn't support large files.

Good thing the jersey finally arrived, but sounds like it sure took a lot of stuffing around to make it happen. Lousy customer service to put it mildly.

No kidding. I certainly don't plan on ordering one next year, even if Perth's are available, unless I can get it from the Wildcats' merch store.

Sorry about the melodramatic posts i drop by here with every couple months. I'm just an irresponsible adult child who cant handle real life. I brought it all on myself and the "wah im gonna kill myself" messages need to stop.

I appreciate the opportunity to vent though.

Don't listen to Pdub!
In this tough economic times the cost of your funeral would be a pain in the ass to those you leave behind. Wait for the economy to get better or watch out for discounts you can use for the funeral. Then off yourself.

I wish we had the same deal here. 30+ degree days with ridiculous humidity are starting to get tiresome. We're apparently going to get some storms here mid week though.

In other news, my uni orientation starts tomorrow. I've already made use of my student ID by buying a concession Go Card. After having a conversation with a girl in my course, I realised that this is going to be my 9th year out of high school... which means the reunion will be up next year

Just got an email from O'Reilly Dental reminding a Justin Daniels of his appointment tomorrow. Which was confusing, because I'm not Justin Daniels, I have no appointment tomorrow, and I've never even heard of O'Reilly Dental. I Googled it, and it was in Queensland...the same place as that guy who signed up for eBay and PayPal using my email address.

I checked back through my inbox, and found the first email from PayPal...welcoming Justin Daniels to the service.

FFS. How hard is it to remember your own damn email?

Mine's taking place this year. It sure leaves you wondering where the last decade went.

Again? You'd think he'd surely put two and two together when he doesn't get any of his emails, unless it's someone deliberately being annoying.

Well, I informed him of his PayPal/eBay error within a day or two, and this is the only time other than that I've got an email intended for him. It's completely ridiculous that he doesn't appear to know his own email address, though. I think he needs a medical professional to examine the area about an inch above his mouth.

There's only one different character between our emails, but that's the sort of mistake you make once (and I can count eBay and PayPal as once, because they were within minutes of each other) and then never again. I wonder how many other people have been getting emails intended for him?

I doubt it's someone attempting to be annoying, as I don't know anyone in Queensland, PayPal and eBay aren't the sort of thing you want others having access to any of your info for, and who the hell makes a dental appointment just so the dentist will send someone else a reminder email?

In any case, I've contacted both he and the dentist and let them know what's going on.

Maybe it's not Justin Daniel's fault. Maybe it was the people who sent him e-mails that were responsible for the mistake.
He gave/wrote his correct e-mail, the sender misreads it and sends it to a wrong but similarly named e-mail.
It happens occasionally with my yahoo account, not the same as your deal but people seem to always forget one character from my e-mail as I found out.
