Lakers back in the Finals...

Postby RedTorro on Sun May 30, 2004 11:18 am

Well I'd thought I post this up now before later. It's only a matter of time.. the NBA needs the ratings anyways. It could have been a different series according to this...

E.T. Cassell at PG
Spree at SG
Wally SF
Ervin Johnson at PF
K.G. at Center <= Key move to get Shaq out of his comfort zone

So here's game 1 of the Finals ...

With a few adjustments to the Pacers lineup ofcourse... :D

Even with all five lakers starters on the bench to start the game, Lakers still win.

Even though I'm normally one of those people who say "it isn't over until it's over", I really don't see the Timberwolves coming back to win games six and seven. I would love to see it happen (not because I'm a "hater", I simply like the Timberwolves the most out of the two teams), but coming all the way back from 3-1 down is highly unlikely against any team, let alone this year's Laker squad. Lakers in six.

Game 6 is @ LA so my guess is Lakers will close it out... but then when I think about it MIN did have the best record..

Regular season and playoffs are different so the best record doesn't mean a lot (minny had like 2 more wins  ).
Lakers in 6

This post is annoying...remember the posts saying the Lakers were done when they went down 0-2 against the Spurs? The Twolves are playing very well and their role players are playing splendidly...they can take game six in LA, and if you think they're done, you don't know anything about basketball...

Guess I did know something about basketball Mr. Shane. The west was decided in the last round vs the Spurs. No Cassell + No Troy hudson = no chance T wolves. Like I said it was only a matter of time. So now I hope we get Lakers Pistons. I hate to see the Pacers get destroyed seeing as how they have nobody to stop or slow don Shaq. On the plus side mabey we can get Ron Artest to fight with Kobe.

As I said, normally I too would say "don't count your chickens before they hatch", but given that not many teams have come back from 3-1 down, I felt Minnesota wouldn't be able to either.
