And I believe that's the reason: there is no official 2K roster update from 01.01.12.
The roster you downloaded and applied, is not the official roster. If you have Stiemsma or Goudelock in your game, you're not working with official roster.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the latest 2K roster release is from 27th of december?

I didnt download any roster.

Start NBA2k12
Go to Options>Reset Rosters
Hit this twice
Go into Rosters
Rosters are now set to Living Rosters from the date you pressed Reset Rosters

NBA2k12
Load Order

1. Loads NBA.ros<--- one I saved after above steps

2. upon pressing reset rosters it loads LivingRosters.LRF
which is 2k's NBA Today's Rosters (Official Rosters)
C:\Documents and Settings\$%#%^#%\Application Data\2K Sports\NBA 2K12\Saves

I think these 2 files will fix the issue

Ive been busy updating last couple of days, some updates:
- I finished all 1st round rookies, they now have white jerseys, so no colormixing in association mode. NBA - where trading happens
- finished on centering legends portraits (for example robert pack, he wasn't visible at all).
- portraits of most new FA signins are finished

Gigolo, yes, compatible with 2K official roster. You can read all info in the description in first post.

Zaschrona, guess I'll be doing them both, Kova and Albys. But there's a problem in Albys' roster, Jerome Jordan and Charles Jenkins share the same portrait.. Not good. We'll see.

Wim - are you going to leave the legend/retro players in Kova/Alby's Portrait file? Why don't you PM them and see if they will adjust so their players use the same ID so that you only need to use the one portrait file? That seems to make the most sense - if everyone tries to stay on the same page.

Yes indeed, I would think so too, but the new FA signings aren't in the official roster, so they don't have a default portrait ID. And also, I'm not getting much response from Albys, so we'll see about that. If not, I won't be doing an update for other rosters.

Marshon Brooks doesn't have an official portrait in mediacentral yet (he does have one in ESPN), but I'll fix it in next update - hopefully the final update!
About Kyrie Irving: he was kind of the first portrait I made myself, and that actually worked, before mediacentral was even putting out official portrait files, so it's kind of an 'emotional' thingy, never thought about changing it, but yes, will fix this in next update

Hey Wim.vl, appreciate all the work you've done, especially in giving us team-neutral portraits that are in my opinion the best for Association as well as down the road, after real trades, etc.

Just a question, I'm using Alby's 1.2 roster and I'm looking to correct Stiemsma's portrait by assigning the right one to him. Can you tell me which portrait ID you've put him on, if he's in your portraits?

No, he's not in the portrait file. Only doing for official rosters, as Albys didn't think it was necessary to answer me.
I'll add these portraits once 2K releases them.

Haha yes, the next update ... :p I don't know when this is going to take place, as I'm not sure whether the new FA's from D-league will make it with their respective teams until March.
If they are in the next official update definitely new portrait file
If they are not not sure, but I'm talking with Darth-Skinett for a possible update
