in year's past it was limited to the player's tab. So editing ratings, animations, gear, bio, player type (legend, NBA, hidden), names, tendencies, hot spots, etc.
Opinions are my own.

"real soon" (first half of January - that's for sure)

So, at most a bit more than a week

global editing in the program cost extra last year (developer interface iirc) but you can always copy the ratings out, paste into excel, do whatever edits you want in excel, then paste them back in.

Certainly not as easy as doing it all in-program but it worked.

all tools are listed in this sticky instead of having 10+ different stickies - viewtopic.php?f=143&t=84048

Open Office is the free alternative to excel

The exams are really a pain in the ass. Beta is probably coming today. Public release - later, when beta is tested and i have several hours to put everything together, so the public release is possible.
XBox - most likely late February. Again, because January is full of exams and then several first days of Feb are free for me, so i'd like to visit my native Chuvashia. Actually, it's something like 2 weeks to make 360 version out of PC this year, as i've learned a lot from the prev. year's experience.

PS. I miss players.dbf right Jao
DBF files (or Database Files) are files that store various game data for players, teams and statistics in the NBA Live series, first used in NBA Live 98. The process of creating roster patches involves DBF editing to modify hidden attributes that are not accessible within the game's Edit Player function. The most common tool used to edit data in dbf files is DB Commander by T&T Solutions.
uniform tab, the number "codes" is simply hex colors. You can pick the color you want it to be in GIMP or Photoshop, click the custom color thing, and get the hex code from there.

Or you can use online ones - http://www.december.com/html/spec/color.html
Opinions are my own.

Or Modder's Interfaces license, so in this case you will be able to simply Ctrl + double-click on the cell to open the color selection dialog (you can try yourself with the Demo version, which is somewhere around).

what day and year is it in Chăvashstan :?:

As everywhere else: January, 8th, 2012.

OK, Beta was finally built some hours ago. Jao has already tried it out and it seems to be working rather fine. Some other testers will recieve it within a couple of hours.
The public release date will take place on 11th with the probability of 80%, maybe on 12th... maybe on 17th, because of my exams' schedule. But let's hope for the earliest date )))

Sorry for being short, as my head really goes crazy after all that maths theory...
