No Bynum Return in 2K?

On Saturday Dec 31 Bynum returned to the Lakers lineup and had a huge game.

Sunday morning the NBA Today still had Saturday's games showing. But Bynum was still red and unavailable on the roster that loaded when roster was reset. By Sunday night the NBA Today had Sunday's games, including the second Lakers v Denver game. But Bynum was still red and unavailable.

What's the use of NBA Today if the rosters don't update injury status for top players?

From what I've read, apparently the rosters have to be updated for him to be unlocked.

Especially sucks if 2K doesn't update for a while, like now.

Not sure if it changed yet, but couldn't fix the rotation at that time. Bynum was red, he was unavailable for the rotation.

he's in there just go to Options>Reset roster X 2

he is on lakers 68 OVR -11 (Y)

Every time I fix the rotations the CPU subs him off (even with auto subs off) and he's unavailable for the rest of the game.

He's available as of the most recent update. It's only 7 days after he returned to the lineup.

It's a shame. If the games and rosters were updated properly, NBA Today would be a good mode.

As I understand it, the NBA Today rosters are still done manually. I'd suggest automation is required, like EA's DNA updates in NBA Live 09 and NBA Live 10.

It's back this year, though it remains to be seen what the franchise will be called moving forward.

The update does bring Andrew Bynum back into the Lakers lineup which was long overdue because of the extended break, executes the trade of Quincy Pondexter to Memphis with Greivis Vasquez to New Orleans, Mickael Pietrus is added to the Celtics, Michael Redd to the Suns, and Jeremy Lin to the Knicks.

lol. The NBA Today rosters are only as updated as the recent official roster update in 2K Share. So if the last official roster update are a couple days old, it's the same roster for NBA Today.
