i think/am hoping that Detroit will win it 2morrow. I think if they do they will end up in the Finals. New Jersey is a tougher opponent than Indiana.

JO already shoots a poor FG%, and Detroit can lower that number. Billups can dominate Tinsley...could be another 7 game series. Homecourt could prove the decider

just same thoughts here
just look how INDI had real hard time fighting off the heat

i'm not underrating the heat..but indi had clearly much more potential to play better than the level they've played so far.

what the hell is JO doing? Indiana's his team and is a team that isiah built up around JO, so if JO continues playing like this and missing wide open jump shots and not getting aggresive at the offensive end, they will not be able to match up the nets or the pistons energy

i'll make this fact clear: what's the difference between a great team and and a championship contender?

well the difference is the attitude the players have.

if the players play like there is no tomorrow, that team will win the game regarding that the talents are pretty much well-tied..

so the bottom line: JO is not playing with the right attitude and if he continues to play like that, bye bye pacers, blame your coach once again

Welcome to the very exciting series
former defensive player of the year + current defense player of the year should be interesting since they both can stop the best offense threat on both teams (JO and Hamiton)

It's tough to count the Pistons out, but I'm still picking Indiana to come out of the East, so I'll say Indiana in six or seven.

damn, Detroit had a great game. before the series i predicted them to win but after 6 games and the Nets being on a roll i thought NJ mite win the last game aswell but the Pistons were more fucused this time and made it. im really happy for Coach Brown, even though hes no longer with my team i still want him to have success so i hope theyre going to beat the Pacers aswell. GO PISTONS (Y)

What?

I want Detroit to win, it would be interesting to watch Big Ben + Rashweed vs. Shaq + Malone.

It'll make an interesting series.

Pacers vs T'Wolves would be fun, KG vs. JO.

LA vs Indiana would be fun too, Artest vs Bryant.

The only East team capable of beating LA is Detroit. Kudos to their Defence and Rip Hamilton (Their offence!)

Fair enough, I'll accept responsibility. But as I said before, I've been powerless since the Heat/Hornets series.

but to make the finals a better one than having a nets vs. lakers/spurs in last 2 years. i would say pistons in 6.

MILLER TIME!!!!!!!!!! That three was clutch at the end. Im so glad we got the 1st game. Anyone else notice the former defensive player of the year Ben Wallace could not guard Jermaine Oneal 1on1.

well he didn't really need to in this game
kinda disappointed about this, but it's an away game so it's tolerable. Looks like Memo and Williamson will get more time in this series.

holy shit....
i couldn't see the actuall game but i saw some highlights from ESPNEWS

people, REGGIE MILLER can still play.
As much as i like the pistons to win this series, i also LOVE REGGIE's CLUTCH shots.
1994 and 1995 conf. finals against NY that was the first time i realized reggie miller as one of the greatest clutch shooters of all time.
and other countless shots:
1998 conf. finals VS Bulls
2000 NBA FINALS VS Lakers
2002 1st round against NJ.

It's just sad how all the great players that i used to watch in my young days are retiring from the game...

THANKS REGGIE for providing us with another epic playoff performance.
:applaud: :applaud: :applaud: (Though i hate the pistons lost)

GO PISTONS~!!!! Steal Game 2~!!
