Nets go up 3-2 in triple overtime. That game nearly gave me an ulcer.

Brian Scalabrine might be the new Robert Horry.

Either way, that's why you never underestimate two-time defending conference champs.

this was one of the strangest games ever
Yeah billups tried to much but in the end it was only him that the Pistons could rely on scoring and maybe some from Williamson. If Pistons still had Hamilton or Wallace in then i think the game wouldn't have reached the 3rd OT. They still had chances, Hunter stole the ball and Billups missec the trey to tie it.

This hurts, 3 straight losses. Man i don't think i'll be a Pistons fan for too long. I'm only 18 and this game is giving me heartaches, when i'm 60 a game like this would give me a heart attack. If i was neutral i'd enjoy the game but since i'm not i cant help but be nervous....kinda stressful damnit

oh well, i still think Pistons will win the series. They'll win away and then have a chance at home. If they do win the series i think they'll play in the NBA finals, but one game at a time. Gotta get over this game first (yeah i know its just a game)

according to Brown Okur wasn't playing cos he was shooting 16-18ft J's. Man, Brown is the coach....I'd say "Play in the post, no where else" and that would solve the problem. In OT there was nobody on the Nets team that could have stopped Okur in the post. He'd have at least 2 inches on every player + he's got the skills to score. Sometimes i question Brown, but i guess he's the boss so it's his call. Okur must have been majorly pissed off.

Yeah i'm still not over this....maybe some titty will get my mind off this....Game 6 2morrow

Don't worry mate, I don't either & this ain't gonna happen:!:

Pistons will win the next game, Big Ben fouled out in the last game, Chauncy tried to much, Rip.. no real impact. This will change, they got, what 2 or 3 days practice, they'll work on those things. Brown and the team will be looking at tape, the coaching staff will run over plays etc. Pistons have the ability, they've got one hell of a defence, in my mind, they gonna win it.

And even if the Nets do elimate the Pistons... do you really think that they'll beat Carlisle's Pacers or Wade's Heat??

That's my $7.50, just my thoughts.

I hate to disappoint all of you, but in the first game the Nets were coming off a long layoff...and even in the second they jumped out to a dominating lead then you guys clawed back.

I think the boys in the blue and grey have figured the Pistons out...the last loss was heartbreaking and the Nets will close this one out tomorrow.

You have the talent but not the experience.

Go Nets go!!!!!!!!

Well Pistons won so your predictions were wrong :p
Now the fate of both teams come down to 1 game in Detriot. I have a feeling the Pistons might pull this one off mainly because they have the fans behind them and more than likely will get the calls they like being at home.

true, Detroit lacks overall experience but what they don't lack though is experience in digging themselves out. Remember last yr vs Orlando 1-3 and then 4-3. Yeah Nets are way better but this time less games to make up. And like i predicted the Pistons won. They will always look back on the Orlando series.....now they have a chance in Game 7, @ home to win. They did it last time, and i think they'll do it this time

I hope so

byebye New Jersey, the game was over pretty much over at half time. The whole second half was all Pistons helped by the fact the nets only had 2 fulltime outs and a 20 for the second half lol

Nets only scored 69points, but the key stat of the night was

0 points for Jason Kidd!

Nets also had 17 assists.....and 16 turnovers compare to the pistons 23assist and 4 turnovers

Also I think Ben Wallace developed a jump shot now lol

Yea, Sacramento will be back next year because we are good.

Good luck to the pistons but I do have to say a team from the west will win it all.

It may or may not happen but who knows

They could be back next year EG. The problem is, they invested alot of money in Alonzo. They thought they were set for this year, thus they didnt make too many transactions in the off season.

Ok, all's good in Netsville, and suddenly Zo drops the bombshell (not that it's his fault) that he's not gonna be able to play. So yeah, all the effort for offseason moves was pretty much wasted they were in a way weaker than before. Oh well, hopefully they can pickup a decent center and they could be very much back in the Conference Finals. (Y)

assuming Kenyon Martin resigns, but he most likely will

lack of experience lost Nets this series....lack of experience at finishing teams off. When was the last time Nets had a challenge. Never really, Pistons though are experts at digging themselves out of holes so i was never really worried when they went down 2-3....that kinda do-or-die experience has never happened for the Nets till game 7 where there was no doubt that Pistons would win
