Magic need some good 3 point shooters to punish opponents when they triple team T-Mac, let's face it, theres no team out there scared of the Magic frontline and their not gonna dbl the rubbish they have. Magic should also draft some dudes that have college experience

It's not really that Lue was undersized, but he's just not an NBA starting PG. Juwan Howard sucks, if Gooden wasn't so wild he'd be starting, he's a better rebounder and can actually block some shots and also has more athelticism and range on his J. Steven Hunter could be decent if he had better bball IQ, but common playing Declerq over him and Pachulia is absurd, its not like they were trying to win games.
Shooters: Tyronn Lue, Gordan Giricek: 38.3% 3PT, and 40.7% 3PT.
Also Keith Bogans, not consistent shooting but 35.8% 3PT.

indeed those 3pt% numbers are decent if not good. However i don't think either player is in the long term interest of the club

Send T-Mac to the Kings.. then we can really have a good Kings-Lakers Rivalry. Find some way for O to take Cwebb or Peja.

I wouldn't want Webber, but if they're going to lose him for nothing I guess so. I think the best thing if they can't get T-mac is to get some young players.

Tmac for Shawn Marion and first round pick.

Actually this isn't too of, it could happen.

This past week word out of Orlando was that if McGrady wouldn't agree to stay past next season - when he becomes a free agent - then he will be traded. McGrady has let those close to him know he is interested in playing for the Suns. The Suns know this and are ready to pounce should that opportunity present itself.

But first they have their sights set on Bryant, and they believe they can get him. In all likelihood Bryant will leave the Los Angeles Lakers and all of the problems that have arisen from his relationships with Phil Jackson and Shaquille O'Neal. Bryant is not liked by his teammates. It is not his team. He has not been given the same credit that Shaq has gotten for the Lakers' success. It is time to move on and establish a new identity. To lead a new team to championship and get the recognition and respect that should come with it.

Bryant is at the top of the Suns' wish list. There are about 50 scenarios the Suns are looking at but No. 1 is Bryant. He would give them the toughness they are looking for, he would become the leader of the team, and he would fill America West Arena on a regular basis. And with the right talent around him, he could lift the Suns to the top of the NBA.

While getting Bryant could be as easy as offering him the maximum amount available as a free agent should he opt out of his current contract, getting McGrady now will not be that easy. To get McGrady, the Suns would have to give up players and possibly draft picks. Which is why the Suns will be reluctant to get McGrady before knowing about Bryant. And having been burned by Antonio McDyess before entering a contract year, the Suns would want assurances that if they traded for McGrady he wouldn't bolt when he becomes a free agent after next season.

The Suns would not want to give up the farm to get McGrady and then somehow not get Bryant, leaving McGrady in a similar situation to what he went through in Orlando this year. Any deal involving McGrady would include former All-Star forward Shawn Marion, who like McGrady is a maximum contract player. Marion has tremendous value around the league. He is young, athletic, has been an All-Star, represented the United States at the World Championships and comes with no baggage. He is a good player, not a great player, but a good one. Any team would love to have him. Throw in the Suns' first-round pick, which will be somewhere in the top 7 and a serviceable role player, which the Suns have plenty of, and Orlando General Manager John Weisbrod may be hard pressed to find a better deal.

Suns in best position ever to give Colangelo a ring

The article is very long, that's not even half of it but its interesting.

That's sick! Kobe, t-mac, amare on one team i hope this thing can happen. I think t-mac is willing to sacrifice and if not he can opt-out the following year. :D

Yeah, i know. :o I read the article that day, which is why i said it.

I think it's a little farfetched to say that Kobe and Tmac will play in the same team next year... but it's a possibilty which is awesome.

Well the tmac part is farfetched... but the kobe part isn't... there's a 50/50 chance that kobe will go to suns! I'm so happy to think that this will happen... imagine the lineup.

PG- Joey
SG- Kobe
SF- Marion
PF- Amare
C- ...Dice? ...Lampe? ...Amare at C and zarko at PF?

dunno about C.

I don't see how suns will be able to sign kobe if they resign keon and dice... but i dunno what the plan is.. maybe suns will use MLE for keon and dice? or can't you use that for resigning... :?: dunno.

But either way, this offseason is gonna be VERY interesting for the Suns.

This was posted in the Suns forum

In fact, management already is being deluged with calls from other teams. The media, of course, already is throwing out unconfirmed proposals. One such report has the Suns ready to swap Olympian Shawn Marion, Joe Johnson and a No. 1 pick for McGrady.

"It's not anything close to that, I can assure you that," my source declares. "The Suns aren't willing to do any deal other than Marion straight up. Johnson is not and will not be included."

There also two different players and I do not believe that T-Mac can handle being second to anyone. I would like to see T-Mac stay with the Magic and see who they draft. Who knows they might come out and impress us.

Also, I think Magic would had a better year if they had not traded Mike Miller. I really do believe that him and T-Mac were a pretty good duo. :miserable:

I also think once the Lakers know they will sign Kobe, that they wont be stupid to trade him away. With him on the team they are a winning team, that is a fact, Shaq & Kobe works if you put those 2 together, its has been proven by winning 3 championships. You dont know if the Shaq and T-Mac combination would work.

I have heard some rumours about him going to San Antonio for Ginobili and some other players. With him going inside he will draw alot more defenders, and Duncan and Parker would get more open looks. Buyt maybe they will turn out worse out of this, who knows

Well he should stay. He's on a winning team in a big media market. And he's playing alongside a dominant big man. So what's the problem?

I'd rather score 22ppg on a championship contender than average 40 points for a team that's out of the playoff race by January.

Well, he already is a 3 time NBA champion, and during every championship he was overshadowed by Shaq, or maybe if they win this year then he might get some probs, but still people will say it was mainly because of Shaq.

From what I know Kobe is a player who loves challenges and prove the critics wrong, I think he is looking for the challenge to make a winning team by his leadership, not someone else. I also think he wants the MVP award, because with the Lakers its pretty much official he wont win it.

I think it's foolish how players in the middle of playoff run make comments about who they'll be playing for next year
