You must be talking about the guys wearing beanies in the crowd. I gave one of the crowd members a hat (which matches the color of their shirt), just to add a little variety....and I feel the original brightness of the audience is better
I didn't change the brightness (via hex editing). I just added shading to the original crowd texture. Unless you're saying that the shading is too intense?

Thanks. Yeah, the 3DM tool ASKOBE posted reads the team_###.iff files perfectly, so I should be able to release V2 with those teams fixed. It will also include enhanced crowds for the other teams (classic, D-League, Rookie/Sophomores, Blacktop, etc.)

TNeckDME wrote:Like I told you before, ASKOBE, that isn't hair. It's supposed to be a toque (sometimes called a beanie), which is a tight fitting knit hat:
I can try to adjust the texture to make it look more fabric like, but I'd prefer to keep the toque itself to add a little more color to the crowd.

OK, I've uploaded a special file just for you: a ZIP file which contains 4 updated (no hat) IFF files for the Lakers, as well as the 3 classic Laker teams. I've also included a PSD template which removes the hat if you want to apply it to any other custom/2K crowd textures.
DOWNLOAD LINK: http://www.sendspace.com/file/kuqdi7
If you can't download from SendSpace, then name another host and I'll upload the file there.
Admittedly, I'm too lazy to go back and update the other 84 files with the removed hat template, so this will probably be as good as it gets. Enjoy.
