WOW!
What an awesome game!!
I mean first Kobe hits a good shot, then Duncan pulls some shit from nowhere, then Fisher pulls an even bigger shot out of his ass.

I thought Fisher and Geroge were the keys to this victory, George finally hit some shots, Fisher played some good D, aoh and that shot :D

The only problem was, Shaquille didnt get the ball enough, and when he did get it, he passed it off.
Kobe shot badly in the end, but i didnt think he really forced any of his shots, most of the bad ones were when the shotclock was goin down, he more got his shots from plays made for him or through the offence.

anyway, in game 6, the Lakers have to goto Shaq and Kobe, prolly feed it into Shaq a little bit more, then this series is over :D

Your countless nah nah nah nah singing are the shit your talking so be careful, the mods are very tight in moderating the forums around here, no offense.

Anyway, really a great game although I did not watch the game I was shocked that the Lakers were able to pull it off with .4 ticks to go. (I was following the Yahoo Gamechannel)

The Spurs are filing for a protest but its really unlikely that the outcome to be overturn. Now the odds are on the Lakers not only to win this series but to win it all.

It looks like two years in row, Game 5 for Horry was another horrible experience.

Fish Game winner in slow mo

Sup Fellas? Yeah wins like this bring everybody from under a rock. But did anybody other than me pay attention to how Karl Malone almost lost this game for us in the fourth? Rushed his shots in obvious fear, bobbled three rebounds, can't forget that pass to no one in particular, then stagnated the offense with his uncertainty late in the quarter when the the Spurs rallied. No wonder he ain't won a ring.

Thank God Fisher salvaged it for us...SHIT. He played big all game on defense which is something I hadn't seen him do in the playoffs since 02 when Bibby took his manhood. D-Fish's is a confidence player and with a game like this under his belt I expect an unbelievable game from the boy when we get back to the city. Atleast 4 3pt Fg made....

I'm still more happy for Kobe. I hear he was put to two IVs after he past out from exhaustion in the training room. He was still huge in the first half and even though his shot was affected in the second he made the most important ones. It wouldn't have been right if it were all for nothing.
No Phil, No Shaq, No Mailman, No Rudy, No Chemistry or Cohesivness....
AND?!!?

Holy shit, man...unbelievable shot by Fisher  :D. First, Duncan with that crazy shot over Shaq (he went for his rebound), then, Kobe wide open for the J, Duncan with another great shot over Shaq, and... D-Fish with that awesome shot...damn, not a good game, but you couldn't stop watching the last qtr.

they are undefeated @sbc against the lakers in the playoffs.
There's a first for everything.

I thought the clock started as soon as the ball touched a player's hands?

I think he's talking about the Duncan shot that put the Spurs up by 1 with 0.4 to go. He means that after a made basket, the clock stops when the ball hits the floor. Not when the ball first goes through the basket. Although, I must say I never knew that bit of information. Interesting.

Oh, OK. I didn't know that - I assumed it stopped as soon as the basket was good.

Actually, the clock should stop whenever it goes trough the rim, not the net or the floor

so if a player catches the ball before it touches the floor, wouldn't that mean that the shotclock never stops? :!: :?

player is touching the floor so in a sense, that would stop the clock since the new floor is the player ( hope it made a little sense lol)

Actually, the clock should stop whenever it goes trough the rim, not the net or the floor

what if it goes through and comesback out :?

Back-to-back lucky shots - dayum! If LA goes on to win the title, Fisher will go down in history as the player who saved the Lakers 2003-04 season.

Why were the Spurs doubleteaming Kobe Bryant 35 feet from the hoop? Why wasnt Bruce BOwen on the floor? Why didnt the Spurs just defend the inbounds?

They didnt defend the inbounds because there wasnt enough time on the clock for them to pass it back. Also, that extra person was use to double team Kobe and the commentators said the Spurs didnt want Kobe to do what he did to Portland awhile ago.

SAS did everything right. It's not like they gave up an open J to Fisher. Ginobili was right up on that. Any closer and he could have fouled, he played good D, Fisher just happened to make an impossible shot. This won't happen again

I'm listening to Game 6 on the radio right now... the refs sound like they are just clueless... handing techs wherever they want.

They said Kevin Willis pushed down on Kobe's knee to get up and thats when GP went off.
