The quick recovery means you pretty much have to get everyone down or out of the ring to avoid having the pin broken up and in a fatal four way or championship scramble, it's likely at least one of them will recover in time and/or reverse a move giving everyone else time to recover as well. Challenge is fine and all, but that stuff borders on fake difficulty.

"Better than No Mercy", apparently.

Bold words, given how beloved No Mercy was and still is.

I do like the sound of the pinning system, way better than having to button mash. In that respect I'm not too sure about the new submission system but I'm keeping an open mind about it all the same.

I thought I read they'd made a few changes to it. In any event, better than button mashing.

Yeah, this year it will sometimes not pop up the meter until the two count, and they've apparently taken away the option to use the old system, but other than that it's the same.

They also move the position of the kick out sweet spot around so you cant just time it like this year too
Opinions are my own.

Also one of the abilities lets you expand the kick-out zone on the meter once per match.

All I really need is SvR '11 with a bunch of Universe mode enhancements, less awful default movesets (seemingly addressed), and SvR '10 match lengths. You can pin someone with three strong grapple moves in '11.

Hopefully managers no longer, regardless of alignment, distract the referee on every single pin until they get ejected...and you can't keep the guy pinned for the entire 2 minute long multiple-distraction sequence and still get the 3 count.

I had a guy come down the ramp to interfere mid-match, quickly hit my finisher and pinned my opponent before he got halfway there. The referee proceeded to stand around and wait for the interference to get to the ring and break up the fall.

Speaking of interference, I hope to hell they've got rid of that camera cut. Every time interference comes out and it cuts away, I get beat up because I can't see what I'm doing. One time, my opponent got his finisher, interference came out, and the when the camera got back to the ring I was being pinned. Couldn't kick out. Stupid.

Ah yes, the interfering managers. Right up there with the CPU's recovery time and remarkable ability to break up any pin or submission in matches with more than two wrestlers in terms of cheapness. I too hope that's been toned down.

It's a solid roster this year. It's admittedly still a month away but as it stands, all current champions are in the game.

i guess that's what all the negotiating VM was doing with Dana White. White agreed to it as long as Brock was portrayed as his wrestling persona and not his UFC persona. but it would make no sense to make a UFC Brock Lesnar in a WWE game right?

One would think. Apparently the meeting was primarily to discuss a Lesnar DVD though.

They're certainly teasing a return for a one-off match in real life as well, though I don't think it's happening anytime soon. Dana White reportedly isn't very open to the idea.
