Man 2K is doing everything in its power to make sure maximum customers are satisfied. The game still looks pretty good despite what someone might complain and they still kept the minimum requirements from last year. My shit ass Intel HD card Laptop gave me 25-30 fps on low. A laptop with a shit card like mine shouldnt even be able to run a current game like that let alone be playable.

They aren't necessarily doing it consciously. The game is being ported from the consoles, which aren't getting any more powerful until the next generation comes out. Therefore, it's unlikely the PC version is going to demand higher and higher specs every year.

Then it seems you've asked a question you already know the answer to.

I wasn't aware that the recommended specs had been posted or confirmed as being higher than last year. If you could run NBA 2K11 on high without any lag, my guess is that the recommended specs aren't that much higher and you wouldn't have too many issues this year. If you have a source on the recommended specs that says otherwise, by all means post it.

What is most important in playing NBA 2K11/12 ? Processor, Graphic processor or maybe RAM Memory ?

Processor and graphics card.

A 4core procie is already beast for this beast and a GTX460 can play this at max. Memory. it's really cheap. you can get 4GB G.skill, much much better than corsair, imo.

I don't think system specs will be an issue looks like they removed and sweat on the players and worse lowered the polygon count on the players I know they want a smooth frame rate but damn

What I can confirm is that 2k11 ran 20% percent faster than 2k10 which was 15% faster than 2k9 on my laptop. I see a trend where the game is actually getting easier to run. This might be because since the game uses the same engine every year they just optimize it more for dx10 level and higher GPU's.

Lets all remember that any PC worth over $450 can almost max out 2k11
