Byron Scott to coach New Orleans?

It might happen according to this report on ESPN from Marc Stein.

Although it also states if Phil Jackson retires Scott is the front-runner for the LA job.

Is there much chance of Jax retiring at the end of this season? I figured the Lakers were simply holding off talks until the postseason was out of the way, one way or another.

I have doubts on Scott if he gets back into coaching, it seems that he made many questionable coaching decisions during his time with the Nets.

I think it unlikely that he go to L.A., probably one of Jax's assistants will get the job if the Zen Man decides to retire.
