Professional Wrestling (WWE, TNA, ROH, etc)

Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

Didn't Nash kind of explain that with the text message/his longtime friendship with HHH? They probably won't go any deeper than that with the explanation and in all fairness they probably don't have to for it to make sense.

I'll have to catch both matches at some point, one way or another.

Still, JR on his worst day puts Cole to shame. JR may mess up a move's name, but Cole never knew it in the first place.

But it doesn't matter, because the official name of the move is whatever Cole calls it (see: powerslam/scoop slam).

yeah that was the best part of the show. i wonder if they're gonna start a stable for Vicki kinda like how they did with Camp Cornette. that would be interesting. they could also use some better tag teams to give the tag division the legitimacy that HHH wants. and not just 2 superstars put together. i mean real tag teams.

i forgot to mention the great freestyle at the end of the truth/miz promo. that was such a great heel promo. very old school. anybody else a fan of truth's catchphrases? "don't 'what' me!", "gon' get got", etc.

A fan here of "Don't "what" me!" catchprase.

"You suck! You suck! Now that's what's up!" I like that freestyle. I hope they'll make that as Truth's heel theme.

Steve Austin and CM Punk had another mini-"twitter war" earlier today. It all started when Austin was giving Zack Ryder advice on beer.

Ryder - @SteveAustinBSR I won't drink BLL tonight. What do you recommend?
Austin - @ZackRyder just go with regular Bud Light. Good beer. You'll thank me tomorrow....and it's cooler than BLL.
Ryder - @SteveAustinBSR Can I put a lime in the Bud Light?
Austin - @ZackRyder why HELL NO you can't put a lime in the damn beer!!!
Punk (responding to above tweet) - To make it not taste like piss. It's still poison.
Austin - @CMPunk you oughta mind your own business...stay focused on Nash and leave the beer drinking to me...Punk.
Punk - @SteveAustinBSR focus is my middle name...Steven.
Austin - @CMPunk my middle name is Whoop Ass...now go about your business before you step in a big pile of what did I get myself into now??

Chris Jericho then wrote on his twitter "It's so cute reading @CMPunk and @SteveAustinBSR 's lil cyber bitch-fights..." to which Punk responded "Yeah. Way more entertaining than you and Miz."

Joey Styles posted " @CMPunk and @SteveAustinBSR can we move this twitter war to a slightly larger stage? Perhaps WrestleMania?"

and William Regal wrote " @SteveAustinBSR and @CMPunk Please just fight and get it over with."

Seriously, it needs to happen. But it probably won't, since it would outshine Rock/Cena
Opinions are my own.

I say go for it anyway. Wrestlemania 27 wasn't that great, I say stack the card for next year. Rock/Cena, Austin/Punk (if Austin is indeed healthy to go), Undertaker going for 20-0, Daniel Bryan going for a championship, JR and King on commentary...throw in some other big names like HHH, Orton, Christian, ADR etc and that's got the potential to be quite a show.

Either CM Punk is bored so he has to do some worked feuds on Twitter or he's really enjoying what he's doing right now.

Meanwhile, over on TNA Jeff Hardy is back, and Crimson failed to make the BFG series top four despite having more points than basically everyone else combined. Also, there were two world title matches in as many weeks.

Not even worth the effort of finding the Cornette Face image, really. :facepalm2: :turrible:

Finally got around to watching last week's RAW...

"Sure, they've held the tag titles for three months, but what have they really done? They have no personality! And really, they've had no success."

"CM Punk really isn't that good. Sure, he beat Cena twice, but whatever."

Seriously, Lawler?

smh i really hope they give jr. perfect the hennig name back. would give them a little credibility

in other news, the new sin cara is still being used. you can tell he's different as he has different mannerisms (pointing up awkwardly with both fingers), different moves (especially different finishers), more (depending on how you look at it) botches, and is noticably bigger than the old one. and lol @ the smackdown commentators trying to explain the size difference during the debut match of the new sin cara

oh and the return of the nWo music was cool and surprising, although they seemed to cut the beginning of the song. isn't hogan still using the knockoff nwo music on TNA?

The differences are very obvious. Read somewhere that Mistico is going to be released and the WWE will go with this new Sin Cara.

I guess they're still trying to sell Punk as a heel, despite the crowd reactions being quite the opposite.

Can't be. JR was behind him, and Laurinaitas (or however the hell you spell it) and Nash are clearly the heels of this particular angle.
