I'm looking for any way to change the name of a team. I tried it with REDitor but it didn't work. I need this because I'd like to change New Jersey Nets to Brooklyn Nets.

you gotta have one of the pay versions of the REDitor that can edit the Teams tab to change those names
i dont know of a free way to do it
