Starbury's Cousin Turning Pro!

Postby Jeffx on Thu May 06, 2004 12:56 pm

I don't blame Sebastian Telfair for turning pro(and signing a 6-year, $15 million contract with Adidas). The kid lives in a Coney Island housing project(where there was a shooting a few months ago) with five brothers and four sisters. I'd do the same thing if I was in his situation. It always bothers me when fans knock athletes for getting paid. Like actors & rock stars, they're entertainers, and should be paid as such.

What Telfair needs to do is be a gym rat, starting right now. He has to get stronger and work on his 'J'.

his game needs some serious work...should go to college, but i agree, he's sorta in the situation tyson chandler was in a few years ago. i think livingston is going pro as well...both need work on their games a lot though.

He should ask for Starbury's money- then go to college and pay him back when he is a seasoned pro!

Do you know him?

He rolls around in a 2004 Yukon Denali with 24" spinners and a platinum chain hanging down to his cock. Don't fool yourself and feel sorry for him.......................... he has been getting paid since he 14.

Matter of fact i seen him at the car wash about 2 months ago................... and the honey he had with him was pretty fine too.

What you think he don't get paid to be on the cover of all those magazines?

yeah I heard that too...i heard it's been years since they've talked. plus, come on, how many cousins in the world would give their cousins money to go to college, especially if they haven't talked in awhile? and these nba players seem to be quite stingy about their millions of dollars when giving it to people...but not when using it for themselves.
