Ok, so I purchased NBA 2K11 from Steam (a day before they dropped the price.. ) and I've downloaded swiftshader and 3D analyzer. This might be a very stupid question, but when I open 3D and try to run NBA 2K11.exe I can't find it. Where is it? Is it in the "Steam" folder in my Program Files or would it be somewhere else? Can someone with the Steam version please help me out?

I apologize ahead of time for the double post.

I found the nba2k11.exe file in my "c:\programfiles\steam\steamapps\common\nba2k11\nba2k11.exe" folder. I selected it, and it loaded in the 3D analyzer. When I tried to run it, it wouldn't do anything. I tried it a few times, but to no avail. Has anyone else been able to use the 3D analyzer with the Steam version?

Sorry to bump this thread but i just bought a 2k11 cd of my friend and installed it.
I'm upset cause it doesn't work!! apparently you need swift shader 3.0 to run it but i only have 2.0
I don't know if i should use it by all my specs meet minimum except video card.
my specs:
Video card: Intel Gma 950
Video card memory: 256mb
Ram: 2.00 GB
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 2.00GHz
DX version: 10
OS: Windows Vista Business SP2 32 Bit

I have tried the swiftshader 3.0 but it is very laggy and i don't know how to use that 3d analyzer thing.

Ummmm... anybody of you guys know how to enable the sweat while using this technique mine doesn't have sweat.

Sweat is only enabled for medium? to high settings. You guys can barely meet the minimum (low settings) that's why you're using this method of compensating for that limitation, so no sweat.

i'm playing with High arena, high texture quality, low player and everything else low cept for crowd on medium.
so i have no sweat?

Tested this on my uncle's laptop. Works fine,really. A little bit lag. Everything on low. Speed is 74. It's good.

Probably not. It is set on low. Medium player has it, though. I'm using medium models in my laptop.
