nice highlight video of Destination X. That RVD faceplant caused a hard cut.

unfortunately, he isnt

He did 2 matches with them, one of four 3-way qualifiers during impact the past month, and then that 4-way match with the winner getting a contract. Austin Aries won.

well maybe.....

Aries, who will officially be joining the X-Division roster Thursday night on IMPACT WRESTLING (9pm ET/PT on Spike) earned a contract by winning a four-way match against hopefuls Low Ki, Zema Ion and Jack Evans in an unbelievable bout; IMPACT ZONE fans began a chant of "Sign them all!" after Aries took the win that went worldwide with a #SignThemAll trending topic across Twitter.

"Austin's unique style and intensity will be a great addition to the X Division," TNA Vice President of Talent Relations Bruce Prichard said. "Aries brings an arrogance and a confidence backed by tremendous physical ability."

In addition to Aries signing, Prichard added, "based off of various X Division performances throughout qualifying events on IMPACT WRESTLING and Sunday night's outstanding "Destination X" pay-per-view, TNA will be signing several new additions to the X-Division roster in coming weeks.

"Our goal now is to reinvent and redefine the X-Division as something unique to all of pro wrestling," Prichard said.
Opinions are my own.

Strange that TNA is supposedly trying to trim the fat and cut costs, yet they are signing new talent. Talent that could greatly benefit the product, sure, but a little odd all the same. I also read that they're bringing Kid Kash back.

Kendrick is the TNA champ?

Saw the entirety of Raw yesterday, I hate how Cena just crashes Punk's awesome promos.

Yeah that was lame, but really going to watch the PPV because of how good Punk's promo is.

That's what I though too watchng that video, since it was at the end of it, (You can see how profusely I follow TNA, knowing all the current champions and all) but Kendrick won the X-Divison championship off Abyss.

Anyone catch the edit in Heath Slater's promo on SmackDown? Gabriel's crouched in the corner, Slater's walking down the ring talking about something or other, and the camera is behind Slater looking toward the ring. Gabriel, in the background, starts to stand up, at which point they cut to a close-up and he's crouched again.

And is it just me, or are they using a new WHC? The various designs and whatnot seem darker than they used to be, and stand out more from the background of the belt.

Oh, and CM Punk is God.

Seems a recolored WHC with a darker base plate color with the embossed areas in bling gold. I still prefer the all-bling gold one.

Exactly. Cena's still talking his "I'm doing it because I love it" promo (and it's always the same promo from him) when Punk's talking all intensity.

didn't they base it off the WCW title? i never liked the WCW title, i preferred the WWF title with the eagle.

So what's everyone's prediction on how this is going down tonight? I think the theory of the MITB cashing it in to "save" the belt is still a good bet.
If Punk takes it, I think we can agree that it's not going to be a straight 1 on 1 affaire, I can see someone like The Rock making a brief appearance and cost him the title.
No, scrap that, he actually wants to Cena to have the belt for their Mania match, so that wouldn't make sense. But maybe somebody else to kick off a feud with Cena.

Anyway, props for the WWE for actually having one intersting storyline, I definitely wouldn't watch the PPV if it wasn't for CM Punk's predicament (and awesomeness).

The real reason I'm watching is probably that there's the slight chance that they get rid of the current WWE Belt

reason why i'm watching is that it's the only time of the year when they have any "dangerous" matches. ladder matches are the only exciting matches left in WWE

Same

I like the Cena lose, MiTB cash in on Punk idea (I said it a few weeks ago iirc  ) but ideally I'd love for that to happen, then Punk beats the MiTB winner and takes the belt. Of course, bring in the new belt, Punk comes back in a few months or w/e new feud between the 2 belts and so on and so on

Shit's been going on way too long .. lol

Would be funny if they screw Christian over one more time tonight, by letting Daniel Bryan cash it in after he wins the belt.
