This is something i am thinking about at the moment. It is just a preview, i consider to take a break with my 76ers association when Playoffs are done.

Why starting 2002/2003?
Well, i just want to play against some other teams and other players and have a different playing experience. Going to face the Seattle Supersonics, players like T-Mac, Jermaine O'Neal in their best days and when the Nets, Pistons and Pacers were title contenders.

I also like the "early" Mavericks team when Nowitzki and Nash had their breakthrough seasons. Maybe i can win a title before the great 2010/11 season...

Memories. Other than the currewnt mavs 00-04 were my favorite years as a Mavs fan. The real big 3 good luck man, hope you stick with this. Plus we made the WCF this year. I played a season with the 03-04 Mavs & beat NJN in for the chapionship w. the 1 seed. hope u do the same.

What you think about the Charlotte Bobcats ? They entered the NBA 2 years later...

I plan to make an expansion, theese are some players i am thinking about at the moment.

any ideas? it should be a decent team, not to good and not to bad.

I love the 02/03 Mavs! They were amazing in Live 2003, partially because Finley was rated higher than both Nowitzki and Nash. I remember I used a starting five of Shawn Bradley, Wang Zhizhi, Dirk, Finley, and Nash and completely kicked ass.

Yeah, honestly I could give a flying crap about the Bobcats. I wanna see these Mavs back in action ASAP!

They were a supercrappy defensive team, but quite the offensive juggernaut. Outside of Jordan's Bulls' teams, one of the best the league has ever seen on that side of the ball at that point.

Great 1st games. I just played Magic Vs Heat, T-Mac got 60.

Well, bad thing is, you can't play on year 2003-2004.

We will see, of course the league is going to be very messed up in 03/04 but i dont have a problem with that.

In example i simulated a season, Bulls won the Draft Lottery and selected LeBron James.
Well its still 0203 and things are just getting started so i dont worry about this.

Kings win in Overtime...

A painful loss in Dallas for the Mavericks. The Scaramento Kings who already finished the Dallas Mavericks in the 2002 NBA Playoffs in 5 Games won in overtime to point the way for the season.



Chris Webber had a great Game scoring 19 points and 19 rebounds, but it was more the team effort that led Sacramento in the last quarter to tie the Game and finally outplayed the Mavs in overtime.

For Dallas things didnt went well, despite Nowitzki's 40 points and a great performance by Nash and Bradley it wasnt enough. The Mavericks bench just couldnt show up tonight as they supposed to do.

Grizzlies catch unawared victory...

A rough start for the Dallas Mavericks loosing the first two Games of the regular season. This one for sure was not expectable, the Memphis Grizzlies led by Pau Gasol, Wesley Person and the rookie Forward Drew Gooden showed excellent defense allowing the Mavericks only to score 90 points.




Another One-Man-Show by Nowitzki - 37 points 15 rebounds - couldnt bring the success in this Game. Especially Steve Nash had an off day, shooting only 3-16 from the field.

Game 3 - Dallas vs. T-Mac

Dallas vs. T-Mac...

This Game was all about Dallas Mavericks versus Tracy McGrady. The first quarter contained an unbelievable amount of scoring action. One reason for that the tremendous output of T-Magic, McGrady scored 27 points in the first quarter the Magic fans raised out of their seats this was just crazy.

None was able to defend McGrady, early foul trouble for Finley and Griffin need to find another answer; Fighting offense with more offense

Steve Nash just recoverd from his bad game against Memphis only missing 2 baskets with 27 points and 11 assists. Walt Williams could step up for the first time this season coming from the bench scoring 19 points hitting 3 out of 5 threes.




52 points until the end of the Game

But McGrady just kept on scoring and scoring, even the Mavericks could pull away a bit in the 2nd and 3rd quarter the Game was still close and T-Mac always a threat.
In the end McGrady sinked 52 points, but one McGrady wasnt enough for the Magic. Orlando finally lost this game and the Dallas Mavericks could win their first regular season game.
