Doc Rivers is back on the (real) job again. Hopefully he can help Beantown out a little bit. Maybe he can bring the Celtics to the playoffs and the same status as the Magic in 2000, or even a better status. 41-41 isnt bad or good, but it is good in the East.

I guess it depends on the Celtics' offseason moves, but he should do a reasonable job. This season's 1-10 start and subsequent firing aside, he's not a bad coach.
On a related topic, didn't Ainge and Rivers work together at TNT for a few years, circa 1997?
