Chapter 1

Postby Cruzerr on Sat May 14, 2011 4:38 am

Chapter 1

It came, i have waited for this moment all my life. To put in some much pressure to lead North Carolina to the finals and win, my head has been spinning since then. Was it a good idea to put myself in the draft ? Maby I aint ready ? Maby I am not the guy, who can have career in NBA ?

"Jordan ? Jordan, what you day dreaming ? Snap out of it !" My mother slapped me and I felt like I re-spawned. Then it hit me, the lights in my face, the hundreds of fans behind me screaming "Jordan, come to the Bulls !!!" While on the other side the peaple were screaming about Wall or Turner, I understood, that my draft pick, has nothing to do with my career. "Jordan old boy, it is 20 minutes until the draft. Do you have any requests ?"

" Yeah, Im going to take a small stroll outside the house. " My nerves were killing me. Being outside of the building, it felt great. It felt like the pressure went off my shoulders and I could do anything. Suddenly, two small boys ran to me and said : " Hey mister Jordan, can I get an autograph ? " "Sure kids, anything." Gave them my autograph and went to take a quick coffee in Starbucks. I was happy that nobody recognized me in there. Then however, my phone rang.

"Dude, where are you ? The draft will start in a minute !" I was like, "No way !" Rushed in the arena and took my seat next to my moms and the coach of the Clippers, Del Negro. Then it started, the most important moment in my life so far, the draft. Everybody knew that I was going to be a high pick, but I did not show a lot of talent in Carolina. I wanted to crush all the doubters, and so I will, in the NBA.

The First pick was Wall, and everybody was in shock. Too be honest, I dont get it, why were they shocked? Wall might be a better player than me. Next was Turner, and the 76ers were really happy to get him. Well, Turner is a beast, but too high pick. He needs to step it up, for sure. Then suddenly "Number 23, Michael Jordan !" I could not believe it, the whole center went quiet, everybody were thinking about the Bulls, but this is new. I went on the stage and there I got my jersey. Number 23, Jordan, the third overall pick, who is heading to.....

To the Milwaukee Bucks. That was something I did not expect, the Bucks? I had always thought about the Bulls, Lakers. Heck, even the Magic. But Milwaukee? Honestly, I do like them. Jennings and Bogut seem like future stars. As I came down the stage, I already saw Scott Skiles talking to my manager Bob. Scott seemed like a good coach. Bogut had praised him a lot. Well, he was the main reason that they got into the playoffs.

"Well, Mr Jordan, you better get ready, because the NBA is no joke. If you aint ready every game, somebody else is going to take your spot. Got that?"
Well, he was not joking. Before I thought that I was not ready, but with my work effort, it is safe to say that I fit in the NBA. "Yes sir, I will." "Please, dont call me sir. Call me Scott or coach. The first practice is in three days, be there."

Three days later, I arrived in the Bradley Center. It is a huge center, no doubt. As I went to the dressing room, I quickly got lost in the hall. Luckily, Salmons pointed me in the right direction. When I got there, I could not take my eyes of the jersey. Me, Michael Jordan, number 23. Honestly, I think I look awesome in the jersey. The training was nothing I have ever experienced. It was hard work and effort, plus the talent level is huge.

After the practice, Scott wanted to talk to me : "Michael, get over here !" He seemed angry, but you never know. But you do know, that when the coach calls, you show up. It does not matter while your in bed with Beyonce or sick as a dog.Wanted to talk about your debut against the Hornets, as you have a lot of skill, I am going to make you a starter. Do not disappoint me."

Me? Starter? In my debut? That felt awesome. After the training, I saw Bogut and Jennings shooting free throws. "Ai, Jordan ! Me and Bogut are going clubbing tonight. You want to come?" I was a bit surprised, as I thought everybody in the NBA are working hard but it is really not my problem what do they do in their free time. "Nah, I think I will skip this one." I cannot go, I have to be on top of my game against the Hornets. It still is my debut.

Game 1-3

Postby Cruzerr on Sun May 15, 2011 8:38 pm

Game 1 @ Hornets

Image

First Half

Before the game I had chills all over me. Coach told me two simple words, and nothing else : "Dont Choke." I guess he is right, but I was excited that I was going to be a starter in my first game in a Bucks jersey. It felt great and awesome. When the game started, everybody was talking about me, and I knew that I was the star of the night. Even though we were away, people were still in awe to see me play.

I started with a assist to Bogut right from the first minute. On the other end, I also did a good job, blocking Bellinelli twice. It was a fast brake, when Drew passed me the ball and I dunked on Chris Paul and got the And-1. It felt great to get my first points dunking on one of the best point guards in the league. But guarding him was really hard, he is fast. He controlled me but I did not give up as I still wanted to work on the glass and help my teammates win. I love when I got the offensive rebound over Okafor and went mid range to get another bucket. When I sat down on the bench, I heard Monty screaming : " Jordan is going to kill us if you dont hold him." That felt great.

Second Quarter I did not do anything. Except getting posterised by Okafor twice. At least I posterised him back, after getting a rebound. I was subbed out for a moment, and with 10 seconds to play, I stole the ball and gave it to Delfino to slam it, but Jarrett Jack was already in his face.

Second Half

Well, I really stepped up my game. It all started when Jennings stole the ball and gave me an alley-oop over West. Then, I made the game in double-digits, having 9 points. I even had an assist, of course, it was to Jennings, who else? Defensively it was really easy, because I hold Chris Paul very well and Bellinelli did not get any touches. All though, Chris Paul did hit a buzzer just inside the three point line and made the crowd more into the game.

In the fourth, I just wanted to build on my great debut. I was embarrassed for a moment, as I went for a windmill finish, but botched it. After that, I got subbed out. Luckily, with 2 minutes left of play, I got back in. I had some huge dunks and one of my favorites to do, changing hands in mid air. Bellinelli surprised me, as in fast break, I left him open and he it a long range three. It did not change the game picture, but it was nice to watch. We won it 73-60.

Game 2 @ Timberwolves

Image

First Half

Coming off my great debut, I was really stoked to play against the Timberwolves. I had a rookie-rookie match up, as I had to guard Wesley Johnson. Somehow, everybody were really pumped up for this game.

I started the game off pretty nicely, grabbing and offensive rebound and giving a nice behind the back pass to Maggette who made a three. Then, I continued to play on the defensive side, grabbing 4 rebounds in there. Then, we crumbled, as I gave the ball away once, but Jennings went really cold, making 3 turnovers in 3 attacks. My first point was kinda like in my debut, Gooden threw me the ball and I dunked on Love. They took the lead at the end of quarter by three points, but that did not anger me. I was really upset about Jennings, as his clubbing is taking his skill away.

Second was even worse. I came in the middle of the quarter and we were down by 9. As I knew, I had to step it up, I thought I would school Ridnour. So I did , making the game only two points. Sadly, nobody held on Beasley, as he was smoking from everywhere. Things did not go better, as Webster came in and started to put points up too. I also got a heavily blocked by Milicic, which is why my knee hurts a bit. When we went to the locker room, I only saw Skiles screaming "Jennings, what the hell are you doing? All of you, your playing like girls!"

Second Half

Well, as we were losing, I knew it was my time to shine. As I finished the first half with eleven, I was motivated to get this game back for us. And so I did, controlling everything and everybody on the court, with 3 minutes of play, I went from eleven to twenty, and got 7 rebounds also. I dished the ball to Gooden and Jennings which made the game even closer. Because of my on-fire being, I wanted to score even more, getting the ball from fast break twice, and having 28 points at the end. My main reason of this run was Wayne Ellington as he got blocked and I stole the ball from him. He was pretty cold. The coach was happy, saying : "Give the ball to Jordan." Did that pressure me?

Honestly, No. But what did pressure me was the fact that Randolph hit a three right in the start. The game was really tough on me and I was hoping that I could really carry the team, but I could not. At some point, I heard a fan screaming " Hey Jordan, look at the big screen !" I was pretty much stunned how much I had scored, over half of my teams points. But we still could not get the win. I went into the locker room, threw my shirt in the corner and was mad. Scott came over to me and said : " Dont be hard on yourself, you had a good game. As for the rest of you, I will see you at the practice tomorrow."

Game 3 vs Bobcats

Image

First Half

As it was my first game at home, I felt more than confident. I loved that one of the fans had a sign : "Jordan aint a superhero, he just likes to score 30 points." Well, I guess that is true.

As the first quarter went by, I was dominating. We finished with twelve points and I finished with twelve points. I even got a block shot, but somebody opened my eyes. It was Stephen Jackson. That guy was stroking from everywhere, he is old with a lot of skill. As people were screaming about me, I was thinking how to hold him. I could not hold him, actually, nobody could. The first ended up with a tie, 12-12.

The Second started off good for me. I blocked Livingston and went on to burn him with a spin move. After that, things went sour. I had two turnovers and so did Jennings. I got subbed but with 2 minutes left on the clock, I got back in. I did not do much, only gave an alley-oop pass to Douglas-Roberts. Still, we were losing at the end 32-25, but the fans did not seem angry, more like dissepointed.

Second Half

Things went even more worse. I had 3 turnovers in a row, and the fans were mad now. I knew I had to pick it up. So I did, I started dominating, having 12 in that quarter. Fans were more cheerful, but they still wanted us to win. As like the coach, they were not happy too. Coach told us something : "If you want to be a playoff team, then get out there and play!"

I was motivated to go and I really tried to step it up. I made the game to three points but Jackson hit a double-team three in my and Jennings face, and it was all over. I made the free throws but It was no use, as I missed the shot to tie it. I heard the fans whispering "Jordan does not have offensive clutch." I want to prove them wrong.

Chapter 3

Postby Cruzerr on Fri May 27, 2011 4:27 am

Well, after that game I felt like hell. I was on my way home when Jennings came next to me with his car. There was some girls in there, who seemed really drunk.

"Heyyy, Jordan, lets go hit the pub!" First, I went really mad because this guy is only a drinker, he does not deserve to be in the NBA. But I will not screw up my chances with him. I walked on but he just pulled in front of me and said :"Jordan, whats the matter? You need to loosen up!"

That was when he hit my nerve " I need to loosen up? Me?! You are given a chance of a lifetime and you just drink it away? Man you are just bad. I wish that people like you don't even exist in the league!!"

Everybody was quiet. The girls were shut and Jennings looked like he would say something bad and really nasty in my face. "Lets go girls, seems like Mr. Big Choke is not going to join us." Well, I just walked on. I am not going to let a party boy ruin my dream.

Day After That

It was my free day. I hit the gym really early and went to shoot some ball. My jumper needs some improvement, but other than that, I am good. On my way out of the gym, I saw this smoking hot girl. She was really pretty and I was really scared of talking to him.

Suddenly she spoke to me "See something that you like?" I almost wanted to choke after that sentence, but I need some company in this city. "Maby I do? I can tell you, if I can take you out for dinner."
"You seem nice, but I am taken already."

Then, some big-shot guy came out of the room and screamed "Hey Laura!" He went there and kissed the girl. That guy was no other than LeBron James, the two-time MVP. "Who are you? Wait... Your Jordan? The kid who is tearing up Milwaukee! I started to laugh but I was happy that somebody recognized me. "Yeah, thats me. Nice to meet you."

"Ey, it was great to meet you too, but I got to go now, are you coming, babe?" "Sure"

Damn, that guy gets all the ladies I guess. Still, women are problems, so it is good to keep my head clean of problems.

Two Days After That

I went to the practice and I saw coach yelling really hard. I thought that things were not involved with me but I was wrong. Salmons told me that the coach wanted to see me. If Skiles is so angry, then things do not look good. I went upstairs and just as I stepped in the office, Scott already screamed:"Jordan, what the hell are you doing?!"

I was in shock. I did not know what did I do wrong. "Do you know that Jennings wants a trade because of you?!" Too be honest, I was quite happy. "Do we need a slacker like him?" "Slacker?!?! You have not been here for a week and your already calling people slackers?!"

He seemed really angry, but he took a huge breath and then continued to talk. "Look Jordan, your a good kid, but we need a player like Jennings. You and him could make a great 1-2 punch. Now, go get your gear on, practice starts in five." I really did not want to play with him, but if he gets traded, I really do not mind it at all.

Bucks Trade

E.J : Alright lets still keep this show rolling ! Now, do both of you know about the huge trade that happened this week?

Charles : Kennys wife finally traded Kenny for a dog? *E.J and Charles start laughing*

Kenny : Yeah, thats really funny Charles. Say, do you even have a wife?

E.J : Alright enough. Now, Kevin Love *pauses* from the Minnesota Timberwolves..

Kenny : Jeez, I thought that Charles had long wires. *Everybody is laughing*

Charles : Not longer than yours Kenny .

E.J : Anyway, Kevin Love has been traded for Brandon Jennings and Ersan Ilyasova.

Kenny : Does that mean that Bucks have a new "Big Three" ?

Charles : Yes, they do. I'm quite happy about this trade. I heard Jennings was a slacker.

E.J : Whats even worse, is that the Miami Heat is going to face the Bucks next.

Kenny : This I got to see!

Charles : Yeah, that match up is going to be really exciting.

E.J : I love what both Bogut and M.J posted in their Twitter. Bogut said: Better be ready. @MiamiHeat. Jordan however said: Welcome Kevin, you made the right choice @KevinLove

Kenny : So they have one of the most dominating rebounder in the league as Love, a third pick rookie as Jordan and a defensive stopper as Bogut?

Charles : This team is going to be great.

MJ and Kevin Love? Sounds pretty cool if you ask me. Jennings is dominating the ball too much, it's good to have MJ + a scrub in the backcourt and get some firepower & rebounding the frontcourt (Y)
