CHICAGO(IL)-T-Mac's injury curse struck again. The 31-year old player injured his arm in a practice session after colliding with Carlos Boozer on a dunk attempt McGrady made. McGrady rushed to the medical center in order to check his situation, where it was made known that the fall on the floor broke his arm, meaning he is probably going to miss the whole remaining of the regular season and serve the Bulls again in the play-offs.
Chicago's management though is on the moves for a trade to cover up McGrady's spot.Chicago called up from D-League Kyle Weaver, who along with James Johnson and Chris Wilcox are the players who are the most possible to be traded. Rumors say that Bulls are pursuing many different players, like Boston's Nate Robinson,Lakers' Shannon Brown,Pistons' and a former Bull Ronnie Brewer and last but not least Spurs' George Hill, with all of them being on a situation that a trade would help both their team and them.
On the meantime,George Koukoulis was sitting on his office, playing 2k11,while his phone rang...

THE FACTS: Wesley Johnson led all scorers with 30 points ,but the Wolves failed to win the Chicago Bulls.Michael Beasley ,No2 in the 2008 draft, had 22 points and 5 rebounds, being the second gun for Minnesota.
On the other hand, the player who was drafted ahead of Beasley with the first pick,Derrick Rose, scored 27 points and had 9 Assists as well, with Deng supporting him really well who had 18 points.Chicago Bulls had in the bench Forward James Johnson,as Chris Wilcox is on his way to his new team, the Detroit Pistons, along with SG Kyle Weaver.
THE STAT: Chicago had 20 steals on the game,5 more than T'Wolves, many of them in the 4th quarter.
QUOTABLE:"We're having a deal in store for the team. We know that T-Mac is a huge absence for the team, and with the right acquisitions we're going to fix the problems occured.I'm noting though that this doesn't mean that we're not confident of our current squad, but with that move we're going to solidify our bench."
--Bulls' GM George Koukoulis.
HOT:Greg Monroe was flawless. He had 8 points with 3-3 FG and 2-2 FT.He was a solid presence in the paint playing a really mature game in overall.

CHICAGO(IL)- The Oklahoma City Thunder, the Chicago Bulls and the Detroit Pistons have agreed on a 3-team,5-player deal that will bring an old known back in Chicago ,fill the gap T-Mac left and shake up things in Pistons and Thunder's benches.
Trade Breakdown
The Chicago Bulls have acquired Daequan Cook from the Oklahoma City Thunder in order to strengthen their Shooting Guard spot.Cook is a legitimate three-point shooter, who has won back in 2009 the 3-Point Shoot Out and along with Korver can help his team from the bench when Bulls need some crucial shots on the end of the game."Our idea with Daequan is that his great shooting can help the team so much from the bench. Now that T-Mac is out,we need a player who can help from the bench. Originally we were going after Ronnie Brewer, but the chance arouse and we couldn't say no to it."Bulls' Gm Koukoulis said.
Along with Cook,Bulls acquired Brian Scalabrince as well!On a surprising move,Scalabrine returned to the Windy City."I still have things to give to the Bulls."Scal said after the trade was announced "I have to lead them to another championship!""Well,Scal's passion is something else!"Koukoulis noted "I'm sure he can help us one way or the other and use his experience ,as the only one in Bulls roster with a ring, in our favour!"
Oklahoma City used their cap space in their favor,as they added Brewer on their bench.Ronnie Brewer is a player who can go offensively to the rim,has a good defensive reputation, but lacks shooting abilities. That way Oklahoma gets rid of the spare shooter, and gets some toughness on their team,as the athletic guard out of Arkansas is known for that.
Detroit Pistons got guard Kyle Weaver and center Chris Wilcox.Wilcox is expected to get his share of playing time,as Center Kurt Thomas is probably going to be traded,so he is going to be a second option for the Center spot.Kyle Weaver is expected to rotate between bench,Inactive list and D-League,as his future is unsure...

THE FACTS: Derrick Rose recorded a career record in assists with 18 dimes and with 27 points and 8 steals as well, he had another MVP-worthy performance. Luol Deng again showed some great display with 21 points and 4 points and again proved that he's the team's second gun. The Chicago Bulls had a really easy job taking the lead and maintaining it that Bulls' Coach Tom Thibodeau played all 12 players ,who all scored. Daequan Cook had a solid debut with 10 points in 11 minutes of play.
For the losing side, the trio of Carl Landry ,Tyreke Evans and (clearly rejuvenated) Stephon Marbury was really good. Landry had 22 points,4 assists and 6 rebounds, while Reke and Marbury had both 21 points and 6 assists, with Evans having 2 steals and 3 blocks as well.
QUOTABLE: "I know this is boring to hear, but this guy is unstoppable. I don't know why,but anything I have tried on him won't make him stop!"
--Kings' Coach Paul Westphal
THE STAT: Chicago scored 17 points at the fast-break, taking full advantage of all the opportunities to run in the open court.
GOOD MOVE:Playing all available players was a great decision from Thibbs. He gave a huge breather to the top dogs while making everyone happy, giving all players plenty of minutes to play, and all took advantage of it,maintaining the lead Bulls' starters established in the 1st half.
